Unfortunately it also unintentionally led to the League of Domination Crisis as it gave Cozy Glow, Chrysalis Avalon and Lord Tirek the means to make a comeback and nearly conquer Equestria.

First mentioned in a [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/904477912/4965502155 Drabble]], Gusty the Great was a legendary thief/rogue who, against all odds, managed to steal the Enchanting Bell of Grogar, sealed most of his powers inside it and then banish Grogar and Tambelon to the Realm of Shadows for what many hoped would be all eternity. She so impressed modern thieves comprising the Thieves Guild in the modern day that she's made an honourary member.
----
* AdaptationExpansion: Downplayed as HOW she did it remains unclarified, but it was established that she had help with a caper crew of ordinary Ponies like herself.
* BadassNormal: What made Gusty's feat so incredible was because she and her crew were on ''completely normal ponies'' who managed to take on [[GodOfEvil Grogar]] and [[{{Mordor}} Tambelon]] and succeeded.
* TheCaper: Her claim to fame consist of pulling a virtually impossible heist - namely, steal the Enchanting Bell of Grogar and most of his power with it, trapping Grogar and Tambelon in the Realm of Shadows [[spoiler:until Mistletoe Dreamer came along]] while at it.
* CowardlyLion: Noted to be 'mousy', but nevertheless managed to steal from and beat ''Grogar'' and Tambelon with nothing more than mortal cunning and determination.
* TheDeterminator: Gusty is noted to have the determination of a turtle. She did not give up until she succeeded in stealing the Enchanted Bell.
* DidYouJustPunchedOutCthulhu: Gusty. Beat. '''''GROGAR.'''' The closest comparison to just how incredible the feat is would be if Jimmy Olsen beat DARKSEID.
* FamedInStory: She is honoured by many thieves by the present day for her legendary caper, being widely and rightly considered one of the greatest thieves to had ever existed.
* GuileHero: She is noted to be 'as cunning as a fox', having managed to outsmart Grogar.
* TheMagnificent: 'the Great', and is honour as such by many thieves both good and bad well into the present day.
* RagtagBunchOfMisfits: Gusty the Great had [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/904477912/4968127605 help]] with her great heist in the form of a number of [[BadassNormal fairly ordinary]] Ponies who happened to possess certain talents and skills needed to help her pull it off. They were not mentioned in most stories about Gusty because after the heist they let Gusty take all the credit to avoid reprisals from Grogar's surviving minions and supporters.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Gusty vanished from history after hiding the Enchanting Bell, presumably to avoid the attention her act would had drawn.
* WowingCthulhu: She impressed ''Phantom Wolf, the Ultimate Thief'', likely the greatest living thief in Known History, with her heist, who was the one to propose that she be made an honourary member of the Thieves Guild.

Ganimane, a Griffon law enforcer who had been the only one who came closest in ever catching him and is [[TheDeterminator relentless]] in doing so, to the point of [[GodOfHumanOrigin ascending to godhood himself]] so he could continue to do so. Their respective skills in hunting and evading each other had led to them both developing a [[WorthyOpponent grudging respect]] for one another to the point of becoming each others' FriendlyEnemy.

* DeityOfHumanOrigin: Was once mortal, but had since ascended to become a god of thieves and other domains, having it was rumoured stolen the divinity from a villainous god unworthy of it.

* FreudianExcuse: While his origins in-universe is shrouded in mystery, an added scene-insert revealed [[spoiler:he was once a young child of a chambermaid who stole riches from a pair of cruel and spiteful nobles who employed her mother in order to get money to treat her illness. Guilt-ridden but also angry at the nobles' cruelty, this sets him off to become a PhantomThief who would steal from the rich and powerful to take them down a peg, but act with honour who would help those needing it, take down people far worse than he is, and never let innocents get caught in the crossfire of his heists]].
* ImpossibleTheft: Is a master of these like his inspiration. To note, he had pulled off seemingly impossible heists like stealing ''an entire country'' which he was said to still govern to this day. * FairPlayVillain: He always gives heroes a fair chance of stopping him and only does capers that are a challenge. If his suit ''does'' function at full capacity, he may also be holding back most of its power because, due to it having relic enchantments from the height of the Third Age, it wouldn't be fair.
* LegacyCharacter: The first Miscreant Melody lived in the Third Age, this one is his successor in the Fourth.
* NobleDemon: He's follows a 'Third Age villain morality' and thus is generally a decent guy who refuses to harm others or cause unnecessary damage.
* WillfullyWeak: His armor is the original Miscreant Melody's, and thus an incredibly powerful magical artifact. If the armor still works to full capacity and he knows how to use it, he's ''extremely'' powerful, but holds back the majority of it to play fair. Notably, the ''Sirens'' are as dangerous and powerful as they are for having similar relic enchantments.

Sulfura (profile [[https://www.deviantart.com/brutalityinc/art/Codex-Equestria-Heroes-and-Villains-33-869177535 here]]) is a Great Skunk/Copper Dragon hybrid and trickster thief.

---
* AcidAttack: As half-Copper Dragon, she has the ability to breathe and manipulate acid. She doesn't like using it on people, and more often uses it to get past barriers and other obstructions.
* BreathWeapon: As half-Copper Dragon, she possesses the ability to breathe a stream or mist of acid. She figured out a way to alter the chemical composition of hers to also breathe what amounts to [[SmellySkunk skunk spray]].
* ClassyCatBurglar: Despite being a carriage sized Dragon/Great Skunk hybrid, she's this. She enjoys the finer things, has a sense of honor and morals, and only steals things that she views as worthy of her.
* CurbstompBattle: [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/869177535/4901844940 In a canonized drabble]], she ended up going up against Pyro III during a heist. She defeated him handedly, leaving him skunked with a piece of HumblePie.
* HypocrisyNod: While pointing out that Pyro III's ego is why he [[CurbstompBattle was so easily beaten by her]], she admits that she, and dragons in general, tend to be proud creatures. However, she also points out that Pyro III's ego is over inflated even by their standards.
* NoChallengeEqualsNoSatisfaction: Sulfura is disappointed if a heist was too easy, and tends to talk down to opponents who were too easy to beat.
* NoSell: As RequiredSecondaryPowers, she's highly resistant to acid so she's not harmed by her own and thus can just shrug it off.
* SmellySkunk: She's half Great Skunk, and thus can spray a noxious smelling chemical spray from the base of her tail. Due to size, getting sprayed by her is highly unpleasent to say the least. her other half being a Copper Dragon (who have acid as their elemental affinity), she's figured out how to magically alter her acid breath into imitation skunk spray. However, it's less potent than her natural spray.
* TheRival: Apparently takes the Second Age Screwball's place as Patch's.
* VillainHasAPoint: Well, for a definition of 'villain.' After curbstomping Pyro III, she tells him he lost due to his massive ego and if he doesn't do something about it, he'll not fair any better next time they meet. Pyro III's father, Firelord Pyro II, admits she's right and was worried about his son's ego.
