* MeaningfulName: He's named after Rhyniognatha, the oldest known insect.insect, which fits him as one of Blackthorn's oldest sons who served as the origin of the toxically dysfunctional state the Changeling Summer Court is presently in.

Added DiffLines:

* CainAndAbel: Sparassidae is the "Cain" to her half-sister Mastophora, who is the "Abel". Sparassidae is a sadistic EgomaniacHunter who delights in the thrill of the hunt to the point of preying on sapient creatures just to get her fix, while Mastophora is a benevolent "Psychopomp Reaper" who hunts down wicked spirits and drags them off to Hell Dubnos for their eternal punishment. Both Sparassidae and Mastophora had clashed numerous times, and when Sparassidae was finally killed by a mysterious Visitor, Mastophora found and dragged her soul off to Dubnos for her crimes.
* DraggedOffToHell: After dying to a mysterious Visitor she was trapped in a cave with, Sparassidae was found by her half-sister, Mastophora, who dragged her wicked spirit down to the Hell-Realm(s) of Dubnos. According to Mastophora, Sparassidae "squealed like a pig the whole way down".
* EvilVersusEvil: Despite their similarities, Sparassidae and Brachion don't get along. Brachion, as TheSocialDarwinist, genuinely sees himself as a predator who goes after the "weak" (i.e. those who refuse to evolve), and sees Sparassidae as nothing more than a glorified sports hunter who kills for fun. He also despises how Sparassidae frequently hunts down his biologically-engineered creations. Sparassidae would further earn Brachion's ire by attacking Fluttershy, and when he and Kickhopper were later lured into a trap by Sparassidae, Brachion would spend as much time fighting her as he did Kickhopper.
* FallenHero: Sparassidae used to be a heroic hunter like her father, with her main source of love being the admiration people gave her for protecting them from dangerous beasts. Unfortunately, she started enjoying hunting a little too much, and in the end she became an even bigger monster than those she once hunted.
* HunterOfMonsters: Sparassidae started out as one like her father, hunting down dangerous monsters and beasts to protect innocent people. Unfortunately, she gradually evoled into an EgomaniacHunter who gets off from the thrill of hunting, especially sapient creatures.
* HuntingTheMostDangerousGame: Initially starting off as a benevolent HunterOfMonsters, Sparassidae switched to hunting sapient creatures because she grew bored with non-sapient ones. One of her first victims was Patricide her own father.

Added DiffLines:

* LaserGuidedKarma: Sparassidae was a benevolent HunterOfMonsters who eventually started hunting down sapient creatures, including her own family like her father. When Blackrose found Sparassidae hunting and attempting to kill one of her half-sisters, she punished her daughter by banishing her to the Winter Court.
* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: Sparassidae's father was a heroic Zebra hunter who hunted down dangerous monters to protect people, and this was how he met her mother, Empress Blackrose. At first, Sparassidae followed in her father's hoofsteps, but she gradually turned into a sadistic, psychopathic EgomaniacHunter who hunted down even members of her own family -- with her father being her first victim.

* KilledOffForReal: Mastophora's entry confirms that she didn't survive her encounter with the Visitor, with Mastophora personally dragging her soul down to the Changeling Court's Hell-Realm.
