Meeting [[SerialKiller Piéger]] forced her to realize how badly she treated Montem, especially since he faced his own fears in order to save her, and she tearfully apologized to her twin, promising never to bully him again.

* HotGod: Gender-inverted. Due to being a goddess of Beauty, she's extremely beautiful by divine standards. She can exploit this by invoking ScrewTheRulesImBeautiful and IHaveBoobsYouMustObey if she chooses, but she generally doesn't like doing it since it's [[OpposeWhatYouSuffered essentially a form of slavery]].

This especially applies to leaders and authority figures who either misused their positions or failed to live up to their subjects' expectations in some other way. Such people will be relentlessly tormented and badly skunked by him until they understand his lesson.
** He utterly despises moral hypocrisy, as he believes that actually doing something is more meaningful than just saying they'll do it. This means he hates those who are "good" but [[BystanderSyndrome do nothing to help]], as it just makes them an AccompliceByInaction. During the 'Canterlot Purge', he badly skunked a Equestrian noblemare who failed to earn his respect by refusing to act on her moral compass and oppose her genuinely corrupt peers. However, he also hates who bully others for their flaws while ignoring their own shortcomings, which is just as bad.
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: He's a [[TheFairFolk Fae]] Skunk god, and thus while genuinely benevolent, he perceives things quite differently from non-Fae, even fellow deities. His most prominent trait is his CruelToBeKind mindset, where his idea of helping others is to [[SmellySkunk spray them unconscious with his horrific-smelling musk]] and [[WhatTheHellHero call them out for their shortcomings]]; while he genuinely can't understand why this might be seen as too harsh, he started understanding the issue and has been directing those he skunked to people who ''can'' help them out in kinder ways. He also wasn't too bothered over being the last of his race in part due to his alien mindset, though he also believes his people [[AssholeVictim deserved it for being cruel to others]].
* BrutalHonesty: Due to his BlueAndOrangeMorality as a Fae Skunk, he can come off as very blunt, and neither minces words nor softens his tone when he has no reason to do so, like condemning someone he neither respects and deserves it.

* CruelToBeKind: He's [[SmellySkunk prone to spraying people unconscious]] who demand respect they didn't earn or leaders who don't command respect from their followers and dress them down every time he meets them until they step down and let better leaders take over or learn their lesson. However, he has the best intentions, as it's pointed out that as incredibly unpleasant as this is, he's ''right'' and most of these people ''need'' a harsh lesson to learn. It's also pointed out that by Fae standards, this is actually ''tame''. It's noted that certain individuals he skunked, like Blue Suede Heartstrings, Healing Song, and Celestia, likely never would have gotten out of their toxic mindsets if he hadn't given them this treatment.
* DeadlyGas: His spray was originally lethal, but Moufette nerfed it on his request when he was spared because he was limited in using his spray and hated the thought of killing others.
* EntitledBastard: Subverted. Despite being a god of ''Respect'', he believes that respect should be earned and hates those who demand it from others yet do not deserve it. His response to those who act this way is to [[SmellySkunk skunk them on sight]] until they [[BreakTheHaughty humble themselves]].
* TheFairFolk: He's the last of Moufette's first attempt at making a fae skunk species. As such, his morality, while benevolent, has some strangeness to it.
* GoneHorriblyRight: Nittunak's people were created by Moufette partly as an intermediary that would allow mortal Skunkkind to better interact with other Fae races. Unfortunately, Moufette's lack of understanding of Fae nature/magic resulted in an entire race becoming extremely cruel and violent Unseelie Fae, forcing Moufette to purge his creations by stripping them of their power and immortality and letting them all die of old age. Nittunak was the only survivor of this purge, and the only one of his race who turned out benevolent as Moufette had intended.
* JerkassHasAPoint: Nittunak hates people who fail to earn his respect and frequently leaves them stinking to high heaven with his [[SmellySkunk foul musk]]. However, this has been pointed out to be necessary, as sometimes people ''need'' a big WakeUpCall like that to force them to acknowledge their own flaws directly and overcome them. However, it's ultimately deconstructed -- while well-meaning, Nittunak has a BlueAndOrangeMorality due to being a [[TheFairFolk Fae Skunk god]], so his standards of what makes a good leader or person are very skewed and often too harsh for people too tolerate. And while he has since acknowledged he had been harsh, Nittunak is fundamentally unable to understand ''why'' due to his mindset, so he directs the people he skunked to those who ''can'' understand and help them on a level that he can't. As [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/914602463/4985900798 Belladonna Heartstrings points out]], being flawed doesn't necessarily make someone a bad guy, it just makes them human, and even the gods themselves -- including the likes of King Equus or Nittunak himself -- are not perfect.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He's a Fae Skunk god with a genuinely alien mindset, and believes the only way to make people improve themselves is to spray them unconscious with his horrible-smelling musk and [[WhatTheHellHero chew them out for their shortcomings]]. However, he also genuinely means well and despises those who either abuse their positions, demand respect that they haven't earned, and/or mistreat others for being flawed while ignoring their own flaws. This is exemplified with Blue Suede Heartstrings, whom he skunked unconscious for being a massive {{Hypocrite}} yet encouraged him to be better, and protected Blue Suede from self-righteous deities who [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/904156163/4964336378 mistreated him for being flawed]].
* LastOfHisKind: He's the last of Moufette's first attempt to create a Fae Skunk race. He isn't particularly bothered by this, though, which is both due to his own [[BlueAndOrangeMorality alien mindset]] and his belief that his race deserved it for their cruelty.
* MeaningfulName: Nittunak translates to "respect" in Inuit. He's a god of ''Respect'' whose domain essentially allows him to sense if the people he seeks are genuinely worthy of his respect (and [[SmellySkunk skunk them]] if they don't).
* ThePurge: He was the SoleSurvivor of one from his race's creator Moufette by virtue of being the TokenGoodTeammate among them, and helped with the Great Purge against nobles, businessmanes, politicians, the military and other corrupt elements of Equestria in the Fourth Age by invitation from ex-Princess Luna, the Nightbringer.
* SmellySkunk: One of the first Fae Skunks and the LastOfHisKind on account of being a TokenGoodTeammate who was spared ThePurge. He is far from hesitant to skunk someone he feels needs taught a lesson in respect. As a Fae Skunk, his musk was far more horrid than a normal Great Skunk to begin with, and now as an ancient Skunk God, his spray is incapacitate a dragon and he's even KO'd other deities with it.
* TokenGoodTeammate: The only member of his original first Fae Skunk race who didn't turn evil and used his Fae powers for good. As a result, he would [[KarmicJackpot not only survive Moufette's purging of his people, but also achieve godhood]].
* WasTooHardOnHim: PlayedWith: due to BlueAndOrangeMorality, Nittunak is fundamentally incapable of understanding why nonfae might consider him too harsh from time to time, but he's began to understand they do and that there's clearly something he doesn't and ''cannot'' get. As such, while he'll still skunk them badly, he's taken to directing people to those capable of handling the softer side of things if he can tell they need it.
