* PurelyAestheticGender: The dialogue and story remains the same regardless of Rei's gender, which includes the Spectacles of Eros event in which the artifact caused them to attract people of both sexes due to their powers.

* ImCryingButIDontKnowWhy: In Trinity's Pantom Field, she suddenly sheds tears upon seeing the Grand Clock. While she doesn't understand the sudden rush in emotions through her, it most likely comes from the clock's similar design to her former crest as a Murakumo Unit.

* TrappedInAnotherWorld: Rei's story begins with somehow being trapped in a Phantom Field of Trinity Glassfile. This happens once again in Chapter 5 where they are stranded in the Phantom Field of Zechs without Ciel, which caused Clavis to give Juusan the task to protect him.

* {{Foreshadowing}}: When Naoto mistakes Hakumen for a "ally of justice" he had encountered earlier, Hakumen dismisses him as an idiot. Turns out there really WAS someone else running around with what appears to be the Ookami.

* AlasPoorVillain: Despite her insanity and the fact she was trying to kill them, Shiori pities her existance.

* OutOfFocus: Due to the game's cancellation after a year, no event focusing on him was created.

* BelatedHappyEnding: While Nu's story techincally ended in ''Central Fiction'' with her ending up as a bedridden EmptyShell. Her story would continue as Juusan.

* RippleEffectProofMemory: Most likely due to her self-observation and having willingly traveled to the Phantom Field of the King of Ashes, she still remembers the events of Chapter 5 unlike the majority of the other contestants, who forget about everything after returning to their original worlds.

* BadassBoast: While initially refusing to help Rei and Drei with saving Taro and Shiori from thugs that outnumber them. She gives one when an onlooker asks if she wants to bet on someone:
--> I only make bets I can definitely win. So I bet on... myself. (proceeds to leap into the battle)

* CanonCharacterAllAlong: Unlike other characters of ''Alternative: Dark War'' who are {{alternate self}}s of pre-established characters albeit only slightly different aside from a few exceptions, Juusan is explicitly stated to be the same Nu after ''Central Fiction'' having managed to recover from her catatonic state despite being radically different from her past self.

* HugeGuyTinyGirl: She is the tiny girl standing only at 155 cm while Drei, the huge guy, towers over her at nearly 2 meters. The two of them teamed up in chapter 5 due to both of them wanting to meet up with the "Ashen King" of the Phantom Field.

* {{Irony}}: Back when she was Nu-13 all she desired was destruction and fuse with Ragna to become the Black Beast, which is why she hated the fact he wanted to save people including her. Now she is essentially Ragna's unofficial successor as a sword-wielding wanderer, who saves Observers trapped in the Phantom Fields she travels in. Not to mention her hatred towards Calamity Facotors, which are pieces of the Black Beast.
