* AlwaysSaveTheBoy: Kaycee, like Angela, is willing to go to great lengths to protect and save Tyler if he is ever in danger. Her unwavering loyalty to him motivated her to win numerous competitions in order to protect Tyler and the rest of the Level Six alliance.

* GlassCannon: Kaycee is highly skilled at winning competitions and also has a good social game. During her time in the house, she won a total of seven competitions, which included two Head of Household titles and five Power of Veto competitions. She is well-liked by everyone in the house and has not done anything to upset others. Her lack of strategic sense is her biggest weakness in the game. She lacks skills in scheming, manipulation, and strategy, and relies on Angela and Tyler for assistance in these areas.

* TheJuggernaut: During the second half of the season, Kaycee proved to be unbeatable in competitions. She went from not winning any competitions until Week 6 to dominating practically all the competitions after Week 9. She continued to excel and made it all the way to the Final 2. By the end of the season, she had won two HOH competitions and five POV competitions.

* TinyGuyHugeGirl: Averted with Tyler. Kaycee and Tyler are both 5'10" in height, but Kaycee's presence and build give the illusion that she is taller and larger than Tyler. Kaycee appears to have a more husky build compared to Tyler, who is lean and muscular.

* CommonalityConnection: Tyler shares connections with Swaggy C and Angela due to similar life experiences. Tyler and Swaggy bonded over the shared experience of losing their fathers. Tyler's father passed away from a heart condition when he was seventeen. Swaggy lost his father to substance abuse when he was a child. Despite their opposing positions in the house, Tyler and Swaggy formed a personal bond through this shared experience. Regarding Angela, he has experienced the difficulties of enduring profound heartbreak in romantic relationships. Both Tyler and Angela have had difficult breakups in the past, which has made them hesitant to commit to a new relationship due to the pain they have endured.

* EvilOverlord: Downplayed. Tyler is more of an AffablyEvil AntiVillain in regards to the game. None of his strategy or game moves are malicious or personal in nature. He is a NobleDemon who can be scheming, cunning, and ruthless when making strategic moves, but he also adheres to a a set of moral values and code of honor in his interactions with others. He is against underhanded tactics in the game, such as petty trash talking and bullying. There is no doubt that he is the mastermind of the season and has been in control of the game since the beginning. However, despite Tyler being in charge of the house, he never became power-hungry, abused his authority, or mistreated his alliance members.

* SoBeautifulItsACurse: Tyler is a handsome young man who combines the qualities of being both a PrettyBoy and Hunk. His attractive appearance has led to many female houseguests (Angela, Haleigh, Kaitlyn, Sam, Bayleigh), and even the token gay male of the season (JC), becoming uncomfortably obsessed with him.

* BashBrothers: He has a strong bond with several male housemates, especially JC, Swaggy, Brett, Winston, and Scottie. JC is one of Tyler's closest allies, and they have a strong sense of loyalty towards each other. In addition to being strong strategists and social players, they are also close friends who work well together in the game. JC and Tyler are the embodiment of ThoseTwoGuys who are inseparable. They have been responsible for the majority of blindsides and entertaining gameplay, particularly during live evictions. JC has openly acknowledged in his Diary Room sessions that Tyler is his most trusted ally in the game, and he has UndyingLoyalty to him. JC and Tyler frequently share game-related information and offer each other support while playing. Brett, another close ally of Tyler, is a member of the Level Six alliance. Brett and Tyler, both being members of Level Six, have been working together in the game since the beginning. Tyler and Brett share many similarities as players, both excelling the strategic and social aspects of the game. The two have differing playing styles. Brett is known for being entertaining and outspoken, while Tyler tends to be more quiet and laid-back. Brett is characterized as a JerkJock while Tyler is seen as a LovableJock. Brett and Tyler develop a strong bond, with Tyler becoming Brett's closest friend in the house after his best friend Winston is evicted early in the game. Winston was also a supporter of Tyler. He founded the Level Six alliance and recruited Tyler into the alliance while Tyler was the Head of Household (HOH). Winston saw Tyler as a strong competitor and a dependable ally, so he wanted him to be part of the alliance. Despite their alliance, Tyler had to vote out Brett when he was up for eviction against Winston. Tyler formed a close relationship with Scottie, and they developed a strong sense of trust in each other. Scottie has openly expressed his love for Tyler on a personal level, and Tyler has referred to Scottie as one of his closest friends. Both Tyler and Scottie are avid fans of the show and share this common interest. Scottie demonstrated loyalty to Tyler by supporting him after Tyler won the POV and used it to save Scottie from eviction, ensuring his safety. Consequently, Scottie developed a sense of loyalty towards Tyler during the game. Tyler quickly formed a strong bond with Swaggy C. They had a lot in common on a personal level. They both had difficult childhoods, both lost their fathers, share the same birthday (February 17, 1995), and are both competitive athletes. It appeared that the two were going to work together in the game and dominate the house together. However, Tyler's opinion changed when he realized that aligning with Swaggy was the wrong move because he was the leader of a strong alliance called FOUTTE. He was a formidable competitor, winning 2 competitions in just the first week. Tyler saw Swaggy as a dominant male and a formidable adversary. This led Tyler to believe it was necessary to eliminate him. Tyler's heartfelt and sincere goodbye message to Swaggy C after his eviction clearly shows Tyler's deep personal affection for him.
* BattleCouple: Tyler becomes this with Angela along with OfficialCouple. Since Week 5, the closeness between the two individuals has noticeably increased, causing others in the house to view them as a strong power couple and duo. Angela and Tyler have become dominant figures in the game since Week 5, mainly due to Angela's proactive approach. This approach includes strategic planning, influencing voting decisions, and achieving success in competitions. In week six, Angela solidified her position as a strong player when she became the Head of Household (HOH) and Tyler successfully persuaded her to use the backdoor strategy against Bayleigh. Tyler received a nomination from Haleigh, who goes by the alias "H@cker." Angela won the Power of Veto competition and used it to save Tyler from eviction. This event strengthened the bond between the two of them. Angela received a nomination in Week 7 from Head of Household Haleigh. Tyler won the Power of Veto competition and used it to save Angela from being nominated as a way of thanking her for saving him the previous week. Angela and Tyler maintain their dominance in the game, with Angela winning the Head of Household titles in Weeks 9 and 12, as well as a Power of Veto competition, and Tyler winning HOH titles in Weeks 10 and 11. Angela can be compared to Amber Birkich and Tyler is Boston Rob Mariano, using Survivor as a reference. Tyler and Angela, along with Tyler and JC, as well as Tyler and Kaycee, are considered one of the most formidable duos in the game.

* CoDragons: She plays this role with Angela and Brett for the AntiVillain BigBad, Tyler. Kaycee, along with Angela, is a PuppetKing for Tyler. Kaycee can be considered to be Tyler's most loya lietenant and soldier. She wins many competitions in order to help execute Tyler's plans and strategic moves. Kaycee is considered Tyler's closest ally and companion among her, Brett, and Angela. Tyler admitted in a Diary Room session that his loyalty within Level Six follows a pecking order, with Kaycee being his top priority, followed by Angela, and finally Brett.
* TheCreon: Kaycee has consistently shown loyalty to Tyler and follows his instructions in the game. Kaycee had the opportunity to take control and eliminate Tyler in the later stages of the game, but she made the decision to remain fiercely loyal to him. Instead of plotting to take him out, she won tons of competitions to ensure her and Tyler's safety because Tyler was her number one ally.

* DefeatingTheUndefeatable: Tyler had been dominating the game and was the clear frontrunner for victory all season. He encountered minor challenges during the season, but he consistently overcame them. He won numerous competitions, was a member of the season's most dominant alliance, and enjoyed the highest level of safety and protection within the house. He was not ever a huge target and had multiple Final 2 deal agreements. He easily reached the Final 3 after making a significant move (by evicting Brett) in the Final 6. This was possible because every houseguest left in the Final 5 (Sam, Angela, JC, and Kaycee) considered Tyler as their #1. He intentionally threw the Final 5 and Final 4 Vetoes to Kaycee in order to avoid taking responsibility for eliminating the other players (Sam and Angela). Kaycee chooses to bring Tyler, who is seen as a bigger threat to win, over JC, to the Final 2. Despite Tyler's dominance throughout the season, Kaycee narrowly defeats him in a 5-4 jury vote. Kaycee's victory over Tyler in the finals can be attributed to several factors: she had a smaller role in causing conflict, benefited from a strong alliance, avoided angering jury members, and went on a comp beast victory in the later stages of the game.

* GenkiGirl: Kaycee has a very upbeat, excitable personality. She's a LargeHam and especially plays up these traits when she's dressed in punishment costumes

to:

* GenkiGirl: Kaycee has a very upbeat, excitable personality. She's a LargeHam and especially plays up these traits when she's dressed in punishment costumes costumes.
* TheHeavy: She is the most dominant player in the competitions. She may not excel in strategy or social gameplay like Tyler and Brett, but she is a formidable competitor, consistently winning competitions and allowing Tyler to operate as TheManBehindTheMan within the Level Six alliance.

* LadySwearsALot: Kaycee uses swear words on reflex. Several live episodes had to be censored because loudly swears every time she loses live HOH competitions. Her language is predominantly devoid of profanity, although it is occasionally interspersed with colloquial expletives. Rockstar accusses Kaycee as the H@cker because of her profanity, and Kaycee has to clarify that this is just how she talks normally.

* LesbianJock: Kaycee is a muscular ButchLesbian and TheLadette. She is a pro-football player.professional female football player, a sport commonly dominated by males. She embodies the classic tomboy persona and does not exhibit any feminine traits. She is the only lesbian of the season, and she takes great pride in her identity.
* NobleTopEnforcer: Tyler is characterized as the AntiVillain BigBad in the game, while Kaycee serves as TheDragon to Tyler. Tyler is known for being a nice, friendly person on a personal level, but there's no denying that he is the strategic mastermind, schemer and manipulator of the season. He is responsible for almost every eviction and blindside of the season, and he is quite cunning and ruthless in his strategic moves, despite not being vindictive or petty. Out of all the houseguests, he has the most blood on his hands next to Angela. Kaycee has demonstrated a higher level of nobility in her style of gameplay compared to Tyler. She has also played a cleaner and more honest game and doesn't have as much blood on her hands when it comes to taking out people. This is because Kaycee wasn't in control of the game from the start the way Tyler was. Tyler was strategizing and controlling everything from Day 1 while Kaycee laid low and jus went along with Tyler's plans. Both Tyler and Kaycee are equally kind and good-natured individuals outside of the game. Tyler exhibits a significantly more ruthless and cutthroat persona in the game compared to Kaycee.
* NumberTwoForBrains: Kaycee may be a strong competitor and has won many competitions, but she is definitely not the smartest person in the game. She is terrible at strategy and often depends on Tyler's strategic plans to get ahead. It's clear that Tyler is the brains while Kaycee is the brawn in their two person alliance.

* VillainousFriendship: Though Kaycee and Tyler aren't villains or bad people on a personal level, they are both an AntiVillain in the game. Tyler is a very mild BigBad and Kaycee is TheDragon for him. Tyler has been the one pulling all the strings in the game since the start while Kaycee has bee primarily following Tyler along and doing his dirty work.

* AllLovingHero: Downplayed. Tyler is a NiceGuy who appears friendly towards the other contestants, but when it comes to the game, he can be cunning and ruthless. He treats everyone in the house with respect and dignity, without showing any dislike towards anyone. He strongly condemns the use of unethical tactics in the game, such as bullying, physical altercations, or instigating conflicts with fellow housemates, to achieve personal goals. Tyler's approachable, compassionate, and relaxed demeanor enables him to accommodate and nurture the diverse range of personalities within the house. This exceptional quality deserves praise and admiration. Tyler's patience not only enables him to build harmonious relationships with people on a personal level but helps him cultivate a significant number of allies within the game. Tyler's amiable and approachable personality is what led him to win $25,000 for being America's Favorite Houseguest at the end of the season. See BreakoutCharacter.
* AlmightyJanitor: Tyler, the youngest male houseguest of the season, is often underestimated due to his laid-back surfer persona. However, he is actually a versatile and skilled player in the game of Big Brother. He's TheAce and is solid in all aspects of the game, including strategically, socially and competitively.

* AmazonChaser: Tyler's attraction to Angela and his close bond with Kaycee suggest that he is drawn to strong, competitive, and athletic women. Angela participated in a variety of athletic activities during her upbringing, such as pole vaulting, track running, and gymnastics. She also pursued a career as a fitness model, standing at 5'10" with a well-defined and muscular physique. Angela embodies the stereotype of an AmazonianBeauty. Kaycee, a highly skilled and athletic professional football player, stands at 5'10" and has a career in a predominantly male-dominated sport. In Big Brother 22, Tyler formed a Final 2 alliance with Christmas Abbott, a fitness entrepreneur who shares his muscular and athletic qualities. Tyler seems to be drawn to women who exhibit a combination of feminine and tomboyish traits. It is unsurprising that Tyler quickly developed strong connections with all of these women. Tyler, an athletic jock and professional swimmer, participated in soccer and football during his childhood.

Tyler showed his support for Scottie by taking him off the nomination block during a difficult situation, ensuring his safety. Consequently, Scottie developed a sense of loyalty towards Tyler while playing the game. Tyler initially formed a strong bond with Swaggy C. However, Tyler's perspective changed when he realized the significant influence Swaggy had over a specific group in the house. Tyler viewed Swaggy as a dominant alpha male and saw him as a strong opponent, leading Tyler to believe it was necessary to remove him. Tyler's heartfelt and sincere farewell message to Swaggy C following his eviction clearly demonstrates Tyler's deep personal affection for him.

** There were two occasions early in the game when Tyler was forced to choose between his fellow alliance members when they were facing elimination. The first time was when Scottie put Winston and Brett on the block. Tyler influenced the rest of his alliance, as well as Sam and JC, to vote out Winston and keep Brett. He believed that Brett would be a more dependable and trustworthy ally compared to Winston, who had shown himself to be overly paranoid, ineffective, and unpredictable. The second time was when Bayleigh put up Rachel and Brett. Tyler won the Power of Veto (POV) that week and had the opportunity to remove one of his allies from the block. He chose not to because he felt that doing so would reveal his hand to Bayleigh and expose that he's in an alliance with Level Six, while everyone else believes he's with FOUTTE. This move of using POV on Brett or Rachel would have exposed Tyler as the double agent. When it came to deciding between Rachel and Brett, Tyler successfully persuaded his allies to vote in favor of keeping Brett and eliminating Rachel. This decision was largely influenced by Rachel's betrayal towards Tyler, her increasingly paranoid behavior, and her intention to betray the Level Six alliance, which prioritizes trust and loyalty above all else. Rachel trusted Bayleigh over Tyler, which ultimately led to Tyler convincing his alliance to vote out Rachel.
** There was a time during Weeks 6 and 7 when Tyler felt pressured to choose between Angela and Sam. Sam had heard rumors about Tyler growing emotionally closer to Angela during the week of her HOH reign. Sam took notice and became extremely insecure, angry, and jealous of Tyler and Angela's relationship. As a result, Sam temporarily turned on Tyler and Angela, by extension, by stating that she wanted both of them out of the house. Eventually, Tyler managed to sway Sam back to his side by offering emotional comfort and reassurance. He assured her that he hadn't replaced her with Angela, despite their recent closeness.
** He faces conflicting loyalties between his remaining Level Six alliance as they reach the Final 8 and Final 7. Brett, who had believed that he was Tyler's most trusted ally and number one after Winston's departure in Week 3, attempted to persuade Tyler to target their own alliance members, Angela and Kaycee. Brett believed that Tyler would want to target them, not realizing just how close Tyler was to both girls. Tyler betrays Brett by exposing his plans to target the girls to both Angela and Kaycee, which ultimately causes them to become angry with Brett and want to distance themselves from him. Brett ends up being evicted and blindsided during the Double Eviction when Tyler wins the Double Eviction HOH competition. Angela wins the POV and uses the Veto to take JC off the block. Tyler then puts Brett up as a replacement, ultimately sending him out the door. He also had to choose between going with JC/Brett or Angela/Kaycee, and he ultimately chose to side with Angela/Kaycee. He made this decision because he felt closer to them on both a game and personal level, despite also being friends and allies with JC/Brett.
** In Week 12, his conflicting loyalties come into play once more as he must choose between Sam and JC, two individuals who have been loyal allies since the beginning. He ultimately chooses JC over Sam, believing that Sam poses a greater threat in competitions and that she could potentially win the game with the support of a bitter jury.
** Finally, the biggest dilemma Tyler faced in the game was at Final 4 when he had to choose between keeping Angela, his romantic partner, or Kaycee, his best friend and loyal ally since Day 1. Fortunately for Tyler, he never had to make that difficult decision because Kaycee won the Final 4 Veto and chose to evict Angela instead of Tyler, securing Tyler's spot in the Final 3. Tyler found himself torn once again as he was torn between who to take to the Final 2 with him if he won the Final 3 HOH. He had to choose between Kaycee and JC, two of his close friends and allies in the game. They are the two people who would take him to the Final 2 themselves and have shown 100% UndyingLoyalty to him throughout the game. Fortunately, he didn't have to make that choice, since Kaycee won the final Head of Household and chose to take him to the Final 2.

He is, indeed, one of the most formidable strongest strategists within in the household, house, effectively exerting influence and control over the majority of its members.
the houseguests and the game.
* DumbJock: Subverted. It was anticipated that Tyler would conform to the stereotype of a superficial and superficial, intellectually limited athletic jock. Tyler, contrary to initial expectations, has emerged as one of the most strategic, intelligent and astute participants in houseguests of this season's game.season. He is intentionally adopting a less intelligent persona in order to avoid being perceived as a threat by the other houseguests.
* EleventhHourSuperpower: Subverted. Tyler received the Cloud App in Week 2 for being the top trending houseguest of the week. The Cloud App would grant Tyler immunity from being nominated at one nomination ceremony or Veto ceremony for eight consecutive weeks. In Week 7, it was assumed that Tyler would have to use his power app as Haleigh was HOH and planned to backdoor him. Fortunately, Tyler didn't have to use his power app because he won the POV that week and kept himself safe. In the following weeks, Tyler never had to use his Cloud App at all because he successfully managed to lower his target through his great social game and his allies won more competitions to keep him safe. By Week 8, he had become the safest person in the house, and no one was actively targeting him. Despite being the biggest threat in the house, he was the safest person in the house. His social game managed to save him and he never had to use his power app.
* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: Downplayed. Tyler has a NobleDemon and AntiVillain persona in the game. He mentioned on the live feeds that he was very close to his mother Charline growing up. He told Sam that his mother was very supportive of his sports endeavors, even playing sports with him as he was growing up. He mentioned that she showed vocal support for him during all of his baseball, football and soccer games, which would cause him embarrassment. Regardless, his affection for his mom was apparent.
* EvenTheGuysWantHim: Tyler's magnetic charm not only attracts the attention of the ladies female houseguests but also garners admiration from his male housemates, including Fessy, Brett, and Scottie. JC, the token openly gay male houseguest of the season, openly acknowledges his admiration for Tyler's physical attractiveness beauty and openly admits to having a crush on that he's infatuated with him. Cody Calafiore, a participant in both contestant on Big Brother seasons 16 and 22, openly acknowledged in admitted on a live Twitch chat that he considers believes Tyler to be is the most attractive male contestant in the history of the Big Brother show.

** It was widely acknowledged within the household that Tyler had a significant attraction to Angela. Tyler's romantic involvement with Angela generated significant discussion within the household, eliciting a wide range of contrasting perspectives and viewpoints regarding their relationship. A number of houseguests expressed their support and held a favorable view of their relationship, including Fessy and Kaycee. On the contrary, several other houseguests held a dissenting view and expressed disapproval of their relationship. This included Brett, Haleigh, Rockstar, Sam, and JC, each having their own distinct reasons for their negative opinions.
** Kaycee and Fessy showed support for the romantic relationship between Tyler and Angela. Fessy exhibited a supportive attitude towards Tyler's relationship with Angela due to his inherent romantic nature, admiration for Tyler, and personal involvement in a showmance with another houseguest, Haleigh. This allowed Fessy to empathize with the strong connection between Tyler and Angela. Kaycee demonstrated unwavering support for Tyler's romantic relationship with Angela, considering Tyler's crucial role as her main ally and closest friend in the house. In addition, there exists a sisterly relationship between her and Tyler, characterized by her strong sense of protection and concern for his well-being. She maintains a strong bond with Angela and desires nothing more than for her two closest confidants and companions to find mutual happiness. Nevertheless, there have been occasions when Kaycee has expressed concern about Tyler's growing closeness to Angela, both in terms of their personal relationship and their strategic alliance in the game. Kaycee has expressed her concern that Tyler might choose Angela as his main ally, potentially replacing her. Despite harboring concerns, she views Tyler and Angela's relationship favorably.
** On the contrary, there were other houseguests who expressed their disapproval of Tyler's involvement in a romantic relationship with Angela. This disapproval stemmed from the following reasons: (A). possessiveness over Tyler and his allegiance and loyalty in the game (B). jealousy over Tyler choosing Angela over them, (C.) Tyler and Angela being a strong, competitive duo in the game, (D.) hatred or dislike towards Angela, and (E.) belief that Tyler deserves better than Angela. Brett was a vocal advocate against Tyler and Angela's relationship because he feared that Tyler would prioritize Angela over him, his closest ally. He harbored suspicions that Tyler would violate the BrosBeforeHoes principle and select Angela as his Final 2 ally instead of him. His suspicions were confirmed!). Tyler's emotional connection to Angela acted as a catalyst for Brett's decision to conspire with JC and Sam at the Final 7 stage. Their intention was to orchestrate the downfall of Angela and, consequently, Kaycee. Unfortunately for Brett, Tyler caught onto Brett's schemes with JC and Sam and orchestrated his downfall. Haleigh expressed her disapproval of Tyler's relationship with Angela because she personally disliked Angela and saw her as a competitor for Tyler's affection. In relation to Tyler, Haleigh exhibited characteristics of an AbhorrentAdmirer during Week 1. Haleigh made attempts to win Tyler's affection; however, Tyler remained impervious to her charms, much to her disappointment. Haleigh experienced feelings of jealousy when Tyler chose Angela as his romantic partner, even though she was already involved with Fessy. Haleigh's bitter resentment towards Angela remains unchanged. Haleigh's desire to have Angela evicted from the house stems from her intention to forge a stronger bond with Tyler. This relationship is a significant factor motivating Haleigh. She hopes that by removing Angela, Tyler will align himself with her and devote more attention to their connection. JC hated Angela and wanted her out because he was jealous of Tyler's affection for her. He also wanted to take Tyler to the Final 2, but felt that Angela was obstructing that possibility.
* EvilAllAlong: Downplayed. Tyler is a NiceGuy on a personal level, but as the game unfolds, his true nature emerges, showcasing his manipulative, cunning, and ruthless tendencies. He will exhibit amiable and affable behavior towards all the houseguests; however, if he perceives someone as a potential obstacle to his strategic gameplay, he will not hesitate to eliminate them and send them home. He orchestrated and conspired with his minions, Angela and Kaycee, using them as a PuppetKing to manipulate the eviction of Bayleigh, Rockstar, Scottie, Fessy, and Haleigh. After evicting all the members of The Hive, Tyler strategically betrayed his own alliance member, Brett, during the Double Eviction by blindsiding him with a backdoor maneuver. He strategically allowed Angela and/or Kaycee to eliminate his final two targets, Sam and JC, in order to avoid being directly responsible for their demise. He experiences remorse when he is compelled to betray or deceive his friends and allies, indicating that he does not possess absolute ruthlessness in the game.
* TheFace: He is a member of the Level Six alliance. He possesses exceptional social skills within the alliance, second only to Brett. He possesses a charming, persuasive, and friendly demeanor that instantly attracts people to him. He has a talent for gathering game information from people without being too obvious about it. Tyler is the mascot of the season. When fans reflect on their love for this season, Tyler's exceptional gameplay, his Level Six alliance, his relationships with the houseguests (both positive and negative), and his budding showmance with Angela are the primary reasons, accounting for 90% of their admiration. By the end of the season, Tyler establishes himself as the breakout character and one of the most adored and popular houseguests in the history of Big Brother. He not only reaches the Final 2 and comes close to winning the game, but he also earns the America's Favorite Houseguest prize as the cherry on top. "Big Brother 20" could easily be renamed "Big Tyler Crispen".
* FaceOfAnAngelMindOfADemon: Tyler looks so sweet, friendly and approachable on the surface, but he sure is manipulative, cut-throat, strategic and manipulative. This makes him an extremely deadly and dangerous player.
* FatalAttractor: Tyler claims that he attracts unstable and unpredictable women. He shared a story on the live feeds about a girl in Australia who tried to stalk him. He had to block her on his phone and all of his social media. There was another incident involving a girl he had dated who almost attacked him with a knife after he broke up with her. Poor Tyler. Is it any wonder that Kaitlyn immediately connected with Tyler? He knows how to attract eccentric individuals.
* GeniusBruiser: Tyler is a combination of TheBigGuy (an athletic, physical and competitive threat) and TheSmartGuy (or EvilGenius depending on ones perspective), GuileHero (or ManipulativeBastard), and TheStrategist (a big mental treat, manipulator and solid strategic player).
* GoodIsNotSoft: Tyler is nice, but he's also very cunning and manipulative. He's ruthless and would easily backstab anyone that he views as competition or a threat to him in the game. On a personal level however, Tyler is a nice and good kid.
* GracefulLoser: Despite losing in the Final 2 to Kaycee by a 5-4 vote, Tyler says Kaycee deserved her win.
* GuileHero: He possesses a robust physique akin to that of a truck, and he is regarded as one of the more amiable houseguests within his alliance, alongside Sam. This kindness to Sam and smart under-the-radar gameplay got him the Cloud App. Furthermore, he exhibits exceptional strategic acumen, shrewdness, and manipulative tendencies, establishing himself as a formidable intellectual and strategic adversary. His instincts are exceptional, and his observations of the house and the other houseguests are consistently accurate and perceptive.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: He's blond-haired and is a good hearted and caring guy outside of the game.
* HardWorkHardlyWorks: Tyler took charge of the household and maintained control over the game from the beginning. He displayed dominance in social interactions, strategic decision-making, and competitive aspects. However, he ultimately does not receive the deserved recognition for his diligent efforts for the entire season. Despite making it to the Final 2, Tyler ultimately loses to his best friend and closest ally, Kaycee, in a closely contested vote of 5-4. Kaycee excelled in competitions during the later part of the game, taking advantage of the smaller number of remaining players. However, it is important to mention that she heavily relied on Tyler's strategic guidance and support throughout the entire game. Kaycee's strategic decision to align herself with Tyler, a player who had both strategic and social dominance, was the primary factor in her success in reaching the final stage of the game. Furthermore, her membership in the powerful alliance called Level Six strengthened her position. Strategically and socially, her work ethic did not align with Tyler's, who consistently displayed a strong drive and determination in both professional and personal endeavors.
* HasAType: Tyler admits to being physically attracted to tall, athletic women, hence his attraction to Angela who is a 5'10" StatuesqueStunner and AmazonianBeauty who is a fitness model for a living.
* TheHeart: Tyler is the glue that holds the Level Six alliance together. He could be considered this role of the house and of the season overall, because along with Sam, he's genuinely the nicest houseguest along with Sam and he was LovedByAll amongst his fellow housemates.
* HeroProtagonist: Given that Tyler receives a significant amount of screen time on the live shows, it can be argued that he is the central figure of the season and assumes the roles of both protagonist and narrator. It appears that the entire season revolves around him. It is logical that Tyler receives significant attention due to his dominant position as the strongest power player in the house. Additionally, his involvement in a showmance and possession of Final 2 agreements with almost all of the remaining housemates further contribute to his prominence.
* HeroicBuild: Downplayed. Tyler's physique does not display an excessively muscular build, but he still has noticeable muscle definition. He has the physique of a lean and muscular superhero.
* HiddenDepths: Despite Tyler's friendly and naive demeanor, he possesses a level of manipulation, strategic thinking, and cunning that surpasses that of any other participant in the game. Most of the other houseguests underestimate Tyler because of his demeanor, unaware that he is actually a devoted fan of Big Brother and has a deep understanding of the show's complexities. In his pre-season interview, Tyler stated his intention to hide his identity as a Big Brother fan to avoid becoming an immediate target.
* HonorBeforeReason: Despite developing romantic feelings for Angela later in the game, Tyler openly acknowledged in a Diary Room session that his loyalty ultimately remained with Kaycee. He expressed his intention to prioritize Kaycee over Angela when it came to choosing who he would bring to the Final 2. Tyler's unwavering loyalty towards Kaycee can be attributed to their early alliance formation on Day 2 of the game, known as Coast 2 Coast, which fostered an immediate and strong bond between them. Despite engaging in strategic gameplay and betraying other houseguests, Tyler remained loyal to Kaycee, even as he developed romantic feelings for Angela. His loyalty to Kaycee was one of the most noble and honourable aspects of his game.
* IconicOutfit: His VANS skate slip-on shoes and his VANS socks. There's never a time when he's not seen wearing either of these clothing items.
* IcyBlueEyes: One of Tyler's most noticeable facial features are his piercing blue eyes, which can come across as intimidating when he's staring.
* ILetGwenStacyDie: Tyler has strategically orchestrated the eviction or elimination of all the women he has formed personal connections with or aligned himself with in the game, with the sole exception of Kaycee. This includes Kaitlyn, Rachel, Bayleigh, Haleigh, Sam, and Angela.
* ILetYouWin: There have been multiple instances in which Tyler intentionally allowed other houseguests to win competitions by purposefully throwing them. For instance, in the first week, Tyler could have easily emerged victorious in the initial Power of Veto competition of the season, but he chose to throw it to Fessy. This decision was motivated by his desire to maintain a low profile and avoid further confrontations within the house. Similarly, in Week 3, Tyler intentionally threw the Veto competition to Scottie to hide his alliance with Level Six. Winning the Veto would have required him to reveal his allegiance by using it on either Brett or Winston. In Week 6, Tyler won the Power of Veto, but he chose to let Angela keep it in order to hide their alliance and strengthen their influence. Tyler was aware that Angela would use the Veto on him. Furthermore, it is likely that Tyler intentionally threw the Final 5 Power of Veto to Kaycee to avoid revealing his loyalty to Sam, who expected him to use the Veto on her since she was on the block. Similarly, it is argued that Tyler also threw the Final 4 Power of Veto to Kaycee to avoid being put in a position where he had to choose between Angela and Kaycee as the sole vote for eviction. Tyler has possibly thrown several Head of Household competitions to downplay his threat level. In Week 4, he deliberately lost a physical endurance wall competition to Sam in order to protect himself and his allies from eviction.
* InsultBackfire: He told Bayleigh to that he planned to evict her. Later, the H@cker at the time revealed herself to be Haleigh, Bayleigh's friend, who automatically used this knowledge to block Tyler's vote. It didn't matter anyways, since Bayleigh was voted out by a near unanimous vote.
* InTouchWithHisFeminineSide: Tyler exhibits a strong masculine presence, embodying both the qualities of a PrettyBoy and a Hunk. However, he also displays nurturing behavior towards others, a trait typically associated with femininity. Additionally, Tyler demonstrates a lack of concern when it comes to wearing pink clothing and accessories, and he prioritizes maintaining his physical appearance. He is also a LongHairedPrettyBoy who styles his hair in a man-bun and bears a resemblance to Jesus.
* InvincibleHero: He was only in danger during Week 6 when Haleigh emerged as the winner of the Hacker competition and nominated him because she perceived him as a formidable competitor, both socially and strategically. After receiving a nomination earlier in the week, he manages to avoid being placed on the eviction block until Week 11, when JC emerges as the Head of Household (HOH) and nominates him solely because of his previous nomination during the Double Eviction. In addition to effectively reducing his target, he also possessed a power that functioned similarly to a Survivor immunity idol. In the second week, he was awarded The Cloud App after being selected as the top trending houseguest. The authority granted to Tyler enabled him to use this app to protect himself from being nominated during both an initial nomination ceremony or a Power of Veto ceremony. The intriguing aspect is that Tyler never had to use the aforementioned app throughout its entire effective period, thanks to his remarkable success in reducing his target.
* JackOfAllStats: Tyler possesses all the essential qualities required to be a strong Big Brother player. He is one of the best physical competitors, excelling in every type of competition on Big Brother, including endurance, physical, skill, and even mental challenges. In addition to demonstrating exceptional competitive abilities, he displayed remarkable strategic acumen that greatly contributed to his successful progression towards the culmination of the game. However, it was Tyler's adeptness in the realm of social interactions and the alliances he forged that propelled him to the Final 2. His exceptional social skills were so influential that all the remaining houseguests in the Final 6 (Brett, Sam, Kaycee, Angela, and JC) expressed a desire to align with him in the Final 2. Furthermore, whenever he faced the risk of being targeted and found himself in a precarious situation, his adept social skills allowed him to diminish the perception of him as a formidable adversary once more.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Although he possesses amiable qualities, he exhibits a ruthless demeanor when strategizing his game moves. There are instances when he exhibits a tendency to be exceptionally forthright, direct, and unreserved in conveying the truth to individuals. This was exemplified by the occasion when he openly informed Bayleigh that he intended to vote her out because of her influential gameplay ability. In his Power of Veto (POV) ceremony speech during Week 7, Tyler assigns blame to Haleigh for the current predicament faced by her and her allies, including Rockstar. During the POV ceremony, Tyler seized the opportunity to inform all participants that Haleigh had made a significant mistake by nominating him as the H@cker. He revealed this information during a House Meeting, nearly causing Bayleigh to be wrongly accused and further exacerbating her vulnerability as a target. Outside of the gaming context, Tyler refrains from engaging in derogatory or offensive language towards others and actively encourages individuals to stop using such language.
* Keet: Tyler is an upbeat and fun loving individual. He never takes himself too seriously and he knows how to have a good time. He's also incredibly sociable with the other houseguests.

Many female houseguests who are connected to Tyler develop strong emotional attachments to him. However, they often react in an extreme and irrational manner when he goes against them or betrays them. In Week 4, Kaitlyn formed a strong emotional bond with her.Tyler, even though she had a boyfriend in real life. Kaitlyn became infatuated with Tyler to the point where she neglected her long-term boyfriend and became consumed with thoughts of Tyler. She was so infatuated with him that she did everything he wanted in the game without question. As time went on, she became clingy, jealous, and Yandere possessive of him. Tyler seemed visibly uneasy with Kaitlyn's romantic gestures, but he felt compelled to accept them due to his fear of potential retaliation and vengeful behavior from her, specifically targeting him as a WomanScorned. Fortunately, she was permanently sent home after failing to succeed in the Bonus Life challenge. The next female houseguest who became irrational over Tyler was Sam. Sam immediately formed a bond with Tyler because he was the the only person who showed her sympathy, empathy, and kindness during her Robot Punishment. Sam depended on Tyler as her emotional support within the house, and it was clear that when she felt ignored by him, she would become emotionally unstable and volatile. In Week 6, Sam gets upset when she believes that Tyler is favoring Angela over her as his closest ally. She spitefully confesses her desire for Tyler and Angela to be evicted and briefly turns against him. Sam, feeling betrayed, makes threats of violence. Tyler, feeling that Sam has become a liability to his game, begins to distance himself from her. He is exhausted from constantly tending to her emotions and handling her delicately. When Tyler aligns closely with Angela, Sam feels rejected and votes against Tyler in the Final 2 against Kaycee. Sam's vote, along with Bayleigh's, is what causes Tyler to lose the $500,000. Bayleigh, another female houseguest, also became furious and irrational with Tyler. Bayleigh had a personal attachment to Tyler from the start. She believed Tyler liked her and wanted to work with her in the game. When Tyler became the Head of Household (HOH) in Week 1, Bayleigh was informed by Swaggy C that she could be renominated if Steve or Sam won the Power of Veto (POV) and were removed from the block. This news caused Bayleigh to become emotionally distraught. She is greatly impacted by the potential of Tyler nominating her for eviction and becomes emotional, breaking down in tears in Tyler's presence. Tyler tries to reassure Bayleigh that she is not a target or on his radar, even though she actually is, in case he were to nominate her. In Week 6, Bayleigh becomes extremely upset when she discovers that Tyler betrayed her and was trying to have her evicted. Tyler suspected Bayleigh was the Hacker who nominated him. He planned to target Bayleigh because he believed she was the Hacker and possessed a Power App. During a house meeting organized by Haleigh, Bayleigh completely loses her composure and confronts Tyler after Angela backdoors her. She screams at Tyler with such intensity that she bites her tongue, causing it to bleed. Bayleigh held a strong grudge against Tyler for betraying her, which led her to influence the Jury against him and ultimately resulted in his loss in the Final 2 against Kaycee. Haleigh, like the previously mentioned houseguests, also felt rejected and betrayed by Tyler. Tyler and Haleigh developed a strong connection early on in the game. However, when Tyler started to ignore her, Haleigh took it personally and made the decision to target him. In Week 6, Haleigh won the Hacker competition and chose to nominate Tyler. The motives behind Haleigh's actions were both personal and strategic. Haleigh saw Tyler as a game threat, but she also felt ignored by him on a personal level. Haleigh made ongoing efforts to flirt with Tyler and capture his attention, but he consistently showed no interest. Haleigh, unlike Bayleigh and Sam, voted for Tyler to win in the Final 2, despite feeling ignored by him. She was not as vengeful as the others. Poor Tyler. scenes because of his charming, affable and laid back persona. Tyler is an AscendedFanboy of Big Brother and has leveraged this to his advantage. Tyler's superfine status makes him someone who understands the intricacies of the game. After winning the first HOH of the season, he took advantage of his power and maintained control of the game by aligning himself with a six-person alliance called Level Six. At the same time, he pretended to be a member of the opposing alliance, FOUTTE. Tyler was strategically aligning himself with the FOUTTE side of the house, and they remained completely unaware of his true intentions. Tyler was PlayingBothSides by acting as TheMole and double agent for Level Six. He was infiltrating all of FOUTTE's discussions and gatherings, and then ratting them out by informing his actual alliance. Tyler acting as the double agent was how Level Six was able to outplay the other side on a weekly basis. He secured the votes to evict Steve instead of Sam. Tyler exposed Sam's possession of the Bonus Life power app to his Level Six alliance members. Winston and Brett were initially hesitant to keep Sam instead of Steve. However, Tyler revealed that Sam had a game-changing power app, which convinced Winston and Brett to vote in favor of keeping Sam. Tyler emotionally manipulated Kaitlyn to betray her alliance (FOUTTE) and vote against Steve. Steve and the rest of FOUTTE are caught off guard when he is evicted in a close 7-6 vote. In the second week, he once again manipulated Kaitlyn into backdooring Swaggy C by deceiving her with promises of loyalty and pretending to be romantically interested in her. He convinced Kaitlyn that her FOUTTE alliance had no trust in her and that Swaggy C was badmouthing her behind her back. Tyler's manipulations convinced Kaitlyn to proceed with the plan to backdoor Swaggy. In week 3, he deceived the FOUTTE alliance by making false promises to vote with them and to eliminate Brett instead of Winston. On eviction night, he collaborates with Brett to devise a plan to conceal his vote against Winston. Brett delivers an eviction speech accusing Rockstar and Kaitlyn of orchestrating a 6-5 vote to eliminate Winston. The plan succeeds, causing distrust within the FOUTTE alliance, with none of them suspecting Tyler's vote. In Week 4, Tyler temporarily sways his alliance to keep Kaitlyn despite her unpredictable behavior. He convinces them that if they keep her, Tyler will be able to manipulate her to do his bidding and use her to benefit the alliance. When Tyler recognizes that Kaitlyn is a liability to his game, he convinces his alliance to vote her out Rockstar, even though he's aware Rockstar is targeting him. In Week 5, Tyler manipulates Bayleigh into not nominating him for eviction by playing on her emotions, promising her his loyalty, and pretending to be deeply affected by Kaitlyn's eviction. Once Tyler discovers that Rachel, a member of his alliance, is disloyal and lacks trust in him, he successfully convinces the entire alliance to betray her and vote her out instead of Brett. Rachel, along with Bayleigh and the rest of the Hive, is completely blindsided by her eviction. Before the eviction, Tyler informs Bayleigh that he plans to vote out Rachel due to her tendency to disclose her power app to multiple peope, which has made her appear untrustworthy and suspicious. He did this to avoid Bayleigh's anger about his vote. In Week 6, Tyler manipulates Bayleigh into revealing information about her Identity Theft power app to him. He then rats out the information he received from Bayeigh about the power app to his Level Six alliance. Angela, the winner of the Head of Household (HOH) for that week, initially planned to nominate Scottie and Rockstar and then backdoor Fessy. However, Tyler successfully persuades Angela to change her plans and target Bayleigh instead. He convinces her that Bayleigh is a very dangerous player and that her Identity Theft power app could negatively impact their alliance. Tyler strategically increases the target on Bayleigh's back by manipulating the entire house into believing that she is the Hacker who nominated him. He was aware that this would get everyone to be angry at Bayleigh for targeting him. Though Tyler wins the POV, he strategically allows Angela to keep the Veto to conceal their alliance. He decides not to take Scottie's $5,000 prize so that he would trust him and instead takes Brett's trip to Hawaii to hide that he's in his alliance. His plan succeeds when he gets Angela to use the Veto on him, resulting in Bayleigh being named as the replacement nominee. In Week 7, Tyler, along with Kaycee, thwarts Haleigh's attempt to backdoor him. Tyler wins the POV, uses it to save Angela from the block against Rockstar, and secured the votes to ensure Kaycee stays and Rockstar is evicted. With this strategic move, Tyler not only prevented himself and all of his Level Six alliance members from going home and weakened the Hive by ensuring they lose another number, but he also extended the duration of his Cloud app by two weeks, which could prove crucial in the future. In Week 11, Tyler bamboozles Brett into thinking that he plans to target Angela and Kaycee. Tyler rats out Brett and his plans to Kaycee and Angela when he informs them that Brett plans to target them. He convinces Kaycee and Angela, who were extremely loyal to Brett, to turn on him. He manipulates Kaycee and Angela to leave harsh goodbye messages for Haleigh to make Brett look like the bad guy. On the other hand, Tyler pretends to Kaycee and Angela that he also left a mean goodbye message about Brett to Haleigh when in reality, he didn't. Tyler did this so Kaycee and Angela would lose Haleigh and Brett's jury votes and vote for him over Angela and Kaycee if he were in the Final 2 against either of them. In Week 11 during the Double Eviction, Tyler wins HOH and surprises JC and Sam by nominating them as pawns, with the intention of backdooring Brett. Tyler instructs Brett to intentionally lose the Veto competition in order to get all the blood on his hands. Angela wins the Veto and Tyler convinces her to use it on JC, removing him from the nomination block. Tyler blindsides Brett by nominating him as the replacement backdoor nominee. Brett is evicted in a unanimous vote of 3-0, leaving him completely shocked by Tyler's betrayal. Brett was completely deceived by Tyler, and he was caught off guard. In addition, all of the Final 6 contestants (Angela, Brett, JC, Sam, and Kaycee) wanted to bring Tyler to the Final 2. This indicates that his strategic control of the house, masterful manipulation tactics, and exceptional social game ensured his place in the Final 2. When the competition reached the Final 5, Tyler relied on his strong social game to coast to the end. He intentionally threw the Final 5 Veto and Final 4 Veto competitions to avoid taking responsibility for Sam and Angela's evictions. The only competitions he didn't throw were the Final 4 HOH and the Final HOH, both of which he lost on tiebreaker questions to JC and Kaycee, respectively. Tyler was confident that he would be safe whether he was nominated against Angela in the Final 4 or JC in the Final 3. Tyler was indirecty and directly responsible for every single eviction of the season. If Tyler had won the game and received a unanimous 9-0 vote from the jury, he would be considered a MagnificentBastard. Since he made it to the Final 2 and narrowly lost in a 5-4 jury vote against Kaycee, he settles for the this trope instead.
