* CelebritySuperhero: {{Reconstructed|Trope}}. While the Justice League is shown to have been garnering fame and fortune from the various billboards and merchandise seen throughout the game, they're ''still'' a force for good and well-meaning intentions even before monopolizing their image. [[spoiler:Even Superman and Green Lantern's initial attempts to peacefully negotiate with Brainiac upon first meeting are portrayed sympathetically (despite it GoneHorriblyWrong), along with the highlight of "practicing what they preach" overshadowing the SlaveToPR implication; their first meeting with Brainiac takes place on "Justice Day".]]

* WhyDontYouJustShootHim: As a user of the Speed Force being brainwashed by Brainiac, he could've easily killed the Suicide Squad in ''so many ways at any given time'' due to his SuperSpeed and ''none'' of them would see it coming [[spoiler:even if they were to acquire the Anti-Speed Force shields (e.g. they still had to turn it on)]]. Instead, he toys with them by giving them a much slower death by using his SuperSpeed in convoluted ways. * InterfaceScrew: One of his attacks release a green fog that can make your character "Crazed", making them "unable to distinguish your allies from your foe". In gameplay terms, it turns Superman and the other Squad members into glitchy-looking green spheres.

* RemovedAchillesHeel: Thanks to Braniac's upgrades, he's no longer vulnerable to kryptonite, as Wonder Woman discovers while trying to fight him. The team need to collect [[spoiler: Gold Kryptonite from Lex Luthor]] before they can get him down to fightable level.

Also, he's regarded as TheDreaded by many criminals and mercenaries as they can't see him coming at them beforehand and, as a brainwashed minion of Brainiac, even ''ripped out Lex Luthor's heart before anyone notices him''. The only reason that he doesn't straight-up kill the Suicide Squad upon his return as a brainwashed minion is due to his arrogance and sadism by toying with them and slowly killing them off. This level of power and danger that The Flash poses for the Suicide Squad forces them to acquire the Anti-Speed Force Shields, and even then, The Flash could still kill them ''before'' they would even have the chance to turn the shields on if he hadn't, ironically, move ''slow enough'' for one of them to activate the shields on reflex.

Also, while the other three brainwashed League members still retain aspects of their prior personality, Superman straight-up acts like the opposite that he is when not brainwashed, and this version seemed to be a MartialPacifist to boot.

* GoodIsNotNice: Even before his brainwashing, even though he seemed to be the most jolly of the league and is called the KidAppealCharacter of the bunch, he was not in favor of negotiating with Braniac and wanted to just fight him despite the ploy seeming tailored for someone like him, and mooks in previous Arkham games mention that he often dealt with criminals without slowing down to the point that he often wasn't seen by them.
