A race of savage monsters that were sealed away long ago. [[spoiler: Jin serves as the seal keeping them under lock-and-key, but some have slipped free]]. Their appearance in the human world has the Nōto on-edge.

* AmbiguousSituation: It isn't entirely clear if the Juto possess their hosts to blend in or if they [[KillAndReplace simply "replace" them outright]].
* AncientEvil: The Juto were a danger to both Earth and Ideon at some point before being sealed away.
* AnimalisticAbomination: [[spoiler: Sonoi's vision depicts the Juto as a predatory wolf-monster draped in smoke]]. Their patron animal also represents their rank.
* ArtifactDomination: The Juto propagate themselves by making people eat origami tainted with their essence. The paper can however be removed and destroyed if caught in time.
* DavidVersusGoliath: They dwarf even the Nōto in power, who can't even conceivably hit them.
* EvilVersusEvil: The [[NominalHero nominally-heroic]] SmugSuper Nōto oppose them in the same vein they oppose the Hitotsu-Ki. They're also the bigger threat.

* FantasticRankSystem: The Juto are organized by their "Strength," denoted by their patron animal type. Cats are at bottom of the totem pole, followed by Cranes, then the yet-to-be-seen Penguin type.

* LeakingCanOfEvil: [[spoiler: Jin's presence]] is essentially the padlock keeping them at-bay. It appears to be an imperfect one however - [[spoiler: An entire bus full of people have already been "changed" into them]].
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: The Donbrothers remain unaware of these creatures' existences.
* MeaningfulName: Their Kanji translates to "Beast People."[[note]]Over-Time translates this into "Bestials."[[/note]] Fitting for predatory [[AnimalisticAbomination Animalistic Abominations]].
* PaperMaster: All Juto use Origami in some fashion. The one encountered in #14 weaponizes them.
* SingleIssueWonk: All Juto so far have an obsession with origami and will fold any paper they can into an animal of their respective type.
* SuperSpeed: All shown Juto possess it, even in their human guise; keeping up with modern-day vehicles with ease. Even the Nōto can't hit them.
* TheyLookJustLikeEveryoneElse: Similar to the Anoni, the Juto blend into human society by posing as their hosts.
