** The Cat and Crane Jūto make contact in #23, trading blows over [[spoiler: the fate of Tsubasa. The Cat]] loses and flees.

* PaperMaster: All Jūto use Origami in some fashion. The one encountered in #14 weaponizes them.

* TakesOneToKillOne: It's vague whether other entities can damage Jūto but [[spoiler: the Cat and Crane's duel in #23]] demonstrates they are least capable of harming one another.

* {{Immortality}}: There is currently no known way to destroy a Jūto, which was why they were initially a SealedEvilInACan instead.

* LivingBattery: [[spoiler: The Juto were created by the Don Clan to serve as these to supersede the need for human desire. It went ''beyond wrong]]''.

* GoneHorriblyWrong: The Jūto were created by the Don Clan as an alternative energy source for Ideon, in an effort to stop relying on human brain activity. Needless to say, it backfired on them big time, and led to the Don Clan sealing them away as well as implicitly being a reason for their overthrow by the Nōto.

* LockedOutOfTheLoop: The Donbrothers (at least for the time being) remain unaware of these creatures' existences. Tsubasa has unknowingly encountered the creatures before but doesn't know what they are; only that [[spoiler: they abducted Natsumi]].

* VillainOfAnotherStory: While they are mostly background threats, [[spoiler:they also had a role to play in Tsubasa's past, essentially making them his archnemesis, but even he doesn't know who they are]].
