** The comics actually make the conga line ''worse.'' Remember how Zuko said that his father considered Azula born lucky, while Zuko was lucky to be born? ''Not exaggerating.'' In point of fact, not only did Ozai say that, he ''also'' said that he intended to throw Zuko out of the palace at birth, and was only stopped by Ursa and the Fire Sages' intervention. ''And he said all this to a six-year-old Zuko's face''. Holy ''shit.''

** He takes more in the comics that continue the original series. [[spoiler: Particularly in ''Smoke and Shadows'', where it's revealed that Zuko can use ''dragon fire'' when he blocks half a dozen fireblasts with a whirlwind of flames that had rainbow colors within them. Judging by the reaction of the attackers, they didn't believe it was ''possible'' for one firebender to block so many others at once. It remains to be seen whether Zuko has more control/skill with dragon's flames and how powerful they are compared to normal firebending.]]

* VillainousValor: In Season 1, it's made abundantly clear that the odds are very much against him, but he never falters in his pursuit of Aang. It's lampshaded by Sokka, who says if they know one thing about Zuko it's that he ''never'' gives up.

** He's indirectly emotionally abusive of Azula as well -- her perfectionism and [[spoiler:eventual breakdown]] can be traced back to the knowledge that if she ever slips up, [[DisproportionateRetribution what happened to Zuko]] could just as easily happen to her. At most though, he trusts her. But was very upset with her when she calls him out for treating her like Zuko.

Secondly, her first scene with dialogue, in "The Avatar State", where she threatens to invoke YouHaveFailedMe on her ship's captain just because he wanted to wait for favourable tides before entering harbour. Thirdly, her firebending practice scene, wherein she successfully performs [[ShockAndAwe lightning-bending]], being one of only three people who can do so, almost perfectly, with just one hair out of place. Azula gets angry and says that "almost perfect isn't good enough!" [[spoiler: Later, when she had her first really big failure (Mai and Ty Lee's betrayal), she totally loses it, and her VillainousBreakdown is characterized by an ImportantHaircut and her hair becoming messy.]]
