They're a group formed by a little girl who piggybacks on a man who wears shades and asymmetrical jaw gauntlets, a girl with PeekABangs and [[MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily shark teeth]] and a [[FatBastard practically spherical fat]] [[BaldOfEvil bald dude]] who's [[PerpetualSmiler always grinning]].

The author of the ''Kahen Rider'' series and Imomushi's master.

* BadassGrandpa: Takes a punch from Riock without harm, blocks another one with a finger and then rider kicks him into oblivion. Sick. He also [[OffscreenMomentOfAwesome beat up a lot of bug assassins offscreen]] to help Imomushi.
* BadassTeacher: Likely the only one in either story who didn't act like a total jerkass to his pupil.
* ChekhovsGunman: He first appears as a MrExposition who lectures the reader about crickets.
* CoolOldGuy: He's the ''Kamen Rider'' mangaka as a kickass assassin.

* TheWorfEffect: Hibiki is advised against attacking an unconscious Riock because he could still react, but Imomushi does it later and is able to counter him and establish her strength. Then when it's Riock's turn to attack [[LittleMissBadass Dinoponera]], who already had proved herself whimsically stronger than Imomushi, Kabutomushi and Hibiki, he gets knocked out ''in a single hit''.

* BadassTeacher: To Hanakamakiri.

* EyepatchOfPower: Wears one over her right thanks to a [[EyeScream "parting gift"]] [[TheDogBitesBack from Hanakamakiri]]. And it just so happens that she's friends with a big-breasted lady, like Sara and Kuramoto from the main story.

* AxCrazy: After his initial defeat, Paraponera acts much more unhinged and savage, while also not speaking anything at all.

* PintSizedPowerhouse: The little girl is of course ridiculously strong and able to block Kabutomushi's strongest attacks on reflex.

A trio of ant kids who help mad doctor Jigabachi capture Imomushi.

* CreepyChild: Those awfully cheerful kids try to rape a paralysed Imomushi and start fighting over who should get to do it.
* CuteButPsycho
* MadeOfIron: For trying to rape her, Imomushi punishes them with hits powerful enough to cause shockwaves over the surrounding rooms, but the kids just comically run away while holding their aching heads.

* PintSizedPowerhouse: They have amazing grip strength thanks to a device on their hands, but their power level in general is just unnatural.
* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil: Ugly fat men, check. School bullies, check. Zombies, check. Psychotic children, check...

* VillainousBreakdown: Failing to kill Riock, Ichijikukobachi gets knocked to the floor disarmed, [[DefeatByModesty topless]] [[BringMyBrownPants and pissing herself]] while he [[DeathGlare glares blankly at her.]] [[KnowWhenToFoldEm She nervously surrenders]] and gives her MacGuffin envelope to Riock, so Riock just takes it and leaves.

* AnimalMotifs: [[StrongAnts Paraponera ants]], also known as Bullet Ants. They might be smaller than dinoponeras, but their stings are just as danguerous, if not actually worse.

* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: It seems he did care for Dinoponera. ...Maybe.

* PoisonedWeapons: Has blades with bullet ant venom on them. More well-known than the similar venom from dinoponeras, it causes intense pain that lasts for more than a day, taking a few hours to begin decreasing while the victim suffers from side effects such as fever and nausea.

* MonsterOfTheWeek: Only the princess stag seems to be anything of a threat to Kabutomushi.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: The little girl is of course ridiculously strong and able to block Kabutomushi's strongest attacks on reflex, which coupled with her appearance and mannerisms makes her resemble Dinoponera from the main story.

* AnimalMotifs: Most of the characters have a arthropod motif, ranging from simply wielding weapons related to them to behaving like them and [[AnimalThemedSuperbeing having superpowers.]] Any outlandish things done by the assassins are followed by documentary-style explanations on insects that are often [[HandWave far from a satisfying explanation]] of ''why'' seemingly [[BadassNormal normal people]] have such abilities.

* BladeBelowTheShoulder: Paraponera wears his gauntlets with poisoned elbow stingers more discreetly than his daughter, and since Imomushi is immune to poison, he ends up not using them much on-screen. His lost left arm then gets replaced with a blade he can shoot as an projectile.

* AnimalMotifs: [[SlayingMantis Grizzled mantises]], a species of bark mantis. Their coloration enables them to hide on tree trunks.

Rather ironic that an old man is using this ability here, as leafhoppers lose it when they mature into their adult form.
