!!Luna Flair

The captain of the 13th sanctuary. A third rate mage who died 4 years ago, but was resurrected into an angel.
----
* BackFromTheDead: She died 4 years ago as a human, but was ressurected into an angel.
* CameBackStrong: As a human
she was just a weak third rate magician like Glenn, but after her ressurection she became an angel powerful enough to defeat armies by herself.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: She was a the weakest member of the 13th sanctuary and died in a missions alongside her comrades who were also her family and friends. She was then reincarnated into an angel and although she now
has with the power to complete her missions, she's still alone since most people see her as a monster.
* DeathSong: The aptly named "Funeral Song" kills people who listen to it.
* Foil: To
Glenn will possibly Radars since they both are considered third rate magicians as humans, but while Glenn was able to save people despite his supposed weakness, Luna was not unable to do the same and even died in a mission alongside her teammates and family.
* ForcedIntoEvil: She and Chase
have romantic undertones no choice, but to listen to Archbolt's orders due to Chase being strapped with an ExplosiveLeash.
* HoistByHerOwnPetard: The reason Glenn was able to stop Chase from attacking Sistine with the dragon is because of her comment that he likes to drink blood which allows Glenn to realize he's a vampire and a way to find him. On top of that she didn't even need to meet Glenn and only did that, because of her personal reasons.
* IAmAMonster: She is aware that she is not seen as a human by others and sees herself as a monster.
* ImmuneToBullets: Glenn's bullets which can punch huge holes in walls don't even leave a mark on her, but she can be knocked down once he fires several at her.
* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: Despite being an angel and on paper being much more powerful than Glenn, she desperately wants to defeat him to prove that her choice of becoming an angel is correct.
* ItsPersonal: Played with
since she never met Glenn before the Magic Festival, however she takes their battle very personally, because she sees him as what she couldn't achieve as a human. However in the end this is subverted sice she is just projecting her past frustations on Glenn.
* LifeIsntFair: She
outright calls him an adulterer for falling for another deity's spell.
* SpiritAdvisor: In the events that transpire during volume 9 & 10, she tells the cast what happens and what they need
says this due to do.
* WhamLine: When saving
Glenn being able to save people and achieve his goals despite being a third rate mage, while she couldn't and even died in a mission back when she was human although on paper their skills should technically be on the same level.
* MagicallyIneptFighter: As a human her skills as a magician were the same as Glenn, but this isn't the case now she's an angel.
* NotSoDifferentRemark: In her fight against Glenn, she said she also had someone to protect who later turns out to be Chase who was implanted with a stake that can kill him.
* PunchClockVillain: She along with Chase only interfered with Alzano's team under orders
from Archbolt, but this is a bit downplayed in her cause since she has a rather personal reason for fighting Glenn.
* ShadowArchetype: Just like Glenn she's a third rate magician when she was a human, but unlike him she was unable to save people and even died in a mission. As a result she can be seen as Glenn if he was unable to save people with his own power or in Jatice's words was unable to find the 1 percent of victory on his first try. She's aware of this and wants to defeat Glenn to prove her choice of becoming an angel is correct.
* UnderestimatingBadassery: She dismisses Glenn as a threat, because of his lack of magician skills and ability and writes his achievements of as luck. Although it's rather implied this stems from her complex.
* WasOnceAMan: She was a human until her death and resurrection into an angel.

!!Chase Foster

A member of the 13th sanctuary and
Luna's spell, subordinate. He died 4 years ago, but was resurrected as a vampire.
----
* BackFromTheDead: He died 4 years ago and was resurrected as a vampire, but this may be subverted, because he himself says he's a copy of the original.
* ChildhoodFriend: The original Chase was this to Luna which is why the original's death hit her hard and why
she calls desperately wants to protect him.
* ExplosiveLeash: He is strapped with a stake when activated hurts and potentially can kill
him [[spoiler:the which is why he and Luna listen to Archbolt's orders.
* ForcedIntoEvil: He and Luna have no choice, but to listen to Archbolt's orders due to him being strapped with an ExplosiveLeash.
* KnowWhenToFoldThem: When it's clear that he and Luna lost the fight, he opted to retreat alongside her after convincing her it's the better option.
* OnlyFriend: He is the only friend of Luna since everyone else sees her as a monster.
* PunchClockVillain: He and Luna only interfered with Alzano's team under orders from Archbolt.
* UndeathlyPallor: He is a vampire and his skin is very pale.
* UndyingLoyalty: Towards Luna since they both are both the last kind of family they have.

!!Illas, Turi and Crea
Three of the four magicians send to investigate and eventually terminate a Lich threat which would end with their deaths.
----
* KilledOffForReal: All three of them were and turned into thralls and killed by Celica when she arrived in the village.
* PosthumousCharacter: They died around a decade before the story.
* TarotMotifs: Their code names were The Strength, The Temperance and The sun respectively.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: They don't get much characterization aside from the fact that they were first-rate magicians and among the strongest of them.
* TheWorfEffect: It was stated that they were three of the four strongest magicians they had, but they all got killed and turned into thralls off-screen.

!!Henrietta Dool
One of the magicians send to investigate the Lich and supposedly died alongside her teammates in the magician. In truth she actually is the Lich and orgastrated everything to kill Celica for humiliating her in the past.
----
* ArcVillain: Of the side story "Heavens, the Lonely Witch".
* GreenEyedMonster: She hates Celica for being a better and stronger magician than her and being immortal.
* KilledOffForReal: She was apparently killed by a Lich she was sent to exterminate. She actually is the Lich herself and orchestrated everything in order to try and kill Celica. This causes her actual death when Celica recomposed herself and used Extinction Ray against her.
* PosthumousCharacter: She turned herself into a Lich and was then killed by Celica a decade before the story.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: She only appears in a side story, but without her Celica wouldn't have the desire for company or Glenn wouldn't be orphaned which caused Celica to adopt Glenn and raise him as her own child. Meaning we wouldn't have the story we know without her.
* TarotMotifs: The Tower, which was also her code name. The card means danger during a journey. Henrietta's plan to kill Celica caused the latter to meet Glenn which caused a huge change to her eternal journey.
* WalkingSpoiler: It's hard to talk about her without bringing up that she's the ArcVillain of Celica's side story especially since it reveals that the 'Glenn Radars' we got to know in that story is her minion and isn't the
one everyone knows.

!!'Glenn Radars'
An orphaned kid
who shall only appears in the Side Story "Heavens, the Lonesome Witch". He admires Magicians and especially Celica a lot and tries gets closer to her during her stay in his village. However doesn't this sound to good to be true?
----
* DeadAllAlong: He was a thrall all the time.
* Foreshadowing: In the only illustration in which he is shown, we only get to see his back, but not his face. This foreshadows that he isn't the Glenn we know in the main story especially since an earlier illustration of Memory Records volume 1 shows an image of Glenn as a kid.
* HeroWorshipper: He admires magicians a lot and sees Celica as his hero which later turns out to be a ploy in order to lure Celica in a trap.
* HoneyTrap: A non-romantic example, but more parental example. Henrietta send him to get close to Celica so that he can lure her in a trap to kill her.
* KilledOffForReal: He already died when he was turned into a thrall, but Celica truly finishes him off alongside his master Henrietta after his true allegiance was revealed.
* ParentalAbandonment: He says that both his parents are dead.
* PosthumousCharacter: He died before the main story began.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: He only appeared in a side story, but he was one of the causes that made Celica desire for company, which is what caused her to adopt Glenn. He's also where Glenn gets his name from.
* WalkingSpoiler: It's hard to talk about him without revealing that he isn't the same Glenn Radars we know in the story till a point that even mentioning his name is a spoiler and his entire folder used to be completely white.

!!Volume 2
!!!Appearing in "Two Idiots"

!!Nina Venus
A girl who only appears in the Side Story "The two fools" which happens 7 years before the story. She saves Glenn from some thugs and takes him to the orphanage she lives in. A meeting she would consider fate.
----
* BigDamnHeroes: In her first meeting she saves Glenn from some thugs. He returns the favor later when her cousin attempts to kill her.
* CallForward: She tells Glenn, he could become a good teacher in the future, but Glenn says he wants to become a "Magician of Justice". And everyone knows how that went.
* ChildhoodFriends: Is one of the only friends Glenn had in his childhood.
* CoolBigSis: Towards the other orphans at the orphanage.
* Foil: Towards Glenn. They are both orphans who were picked up by someone, but while Glenn was picked up by a single foster parent who is financially well or rather loaded with money, Nina is taken into an orphanage that was falling on hard times.
* HeartwarmingOrphan: She is an orphan whose goal is to save the orphanage she lives in.
* HeroicBastard: She's a bastard child of the head of the Venus Chamber, but is a good person who wants to help her orphanage.
* InternalReformist: What she intends to become when her biological father came to pick her up after his other heir died. She succeeds in the present and managed to turn the notorious "Venus Chamber" into a more legal company that funds orphanages.
* Irony: She is technically Glenn's first student way before he became a magic instructor and aside from basic school subjects she also wanted to learn magic from him, but he was not allowed to since academy rules forbid students from teaching magic to people outside the school.
* MistakenForRomance: She tells Glenn, she felt their meeting was like fate and that she doesn't care about age. This kind of wording causes the young Glenn to think it was a love confession, but it turns out she was only asking him if he could teach her some school subjects she couldn't get as an orphan.
* NeverLearnedToRead: A justified example, because being an orphan made her unable to go to school. This causes her to ask Glenn to help her learn how to read, write and do basic mathematics.
* SavingTheOrphanage: This is her life goal. She succeeds as an adult after she took over her father's business and turned it into a more legal company instead of a notorious corrupted one. She also supports several other orphanages besides the one she grew up in.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: She only appears in one side story, but she is the reason Glenn started creating "The Fool's World", because of her speech that every kind of power is okay so long she's able to protect what's dear to her.
* TheTease: She sometimes teases Glenn to see his reactions.
* YoungerMentorOlderDisciple: Downplayed since she and Glenn only have an age difference of 3 years and Glenn only taught her how to read, write, and basic mathematics, but she is the older disciple towards Glenn's younger mentor.

!!Danny
The cousin of Nina and the would-be heir of the Venus Chamber if it wasn't for Nina.
----
* ArcVillain: Of the side story "The Two Fools".
* CainAndAbel: While they aren't siblings, but cousins. He still falls under this since he's the Cain to Nina and her unnamed half-brother's Abel since he killed the latter and tried to kill the former.
* ClashingCousins: He tried to kill both of his cousins so that he could inherit the "Venus Chamber".
* StarterVillain: Technically he is this to Glenn since he was the first evil magician he fought against and managed to defeat thanks to his newly created magic "The Fool's World" and martial arts skills.

!!Volume 3
!!!Appearing in "The Case-Book of Rosalie Detert"

!!Rosalie Detert
A junior of Glenn during his academy days and the second daughter of the Detert family. She left her house when her parents tried to arrange a marriage for her and pursued her dream of becoming a magical detective. She's a recurring character in side stories that feature the (mis)adventures of her cases with Glenn tagging along to give her guidance.
----
* ArrangedMarriage: Her parents tried to make one which is why she ran away from home.
* BornLucky: The cases Glenn tags along were mostly solved due to her doing something coincidental that somehow helps solve the case.
* CanonImmigrant: She makes her debut in Volume 21 of the main series as one of the many people defending Fejite from the widescale attack from the Researcher of Divine Wisdom.
* DefectiveDetective: A case in which she's rather defective in both daily life and being a detective. She tends to recklessly spend her money on expensive magical detective gear instead of living expenses and her detective skills are rather lacking.
* DistaffCounterpart: She is one of Glenn. As a result of reading a book they got inspired to pursue a certain dream that may seem impossible, they both have money problems, lack magical talent, and are quite shameless people.
* FakeUltimateHero: Due to taking down a criminal group, which even the authorities had problems locating. She uses this to her advantage by claiming that she was able to solve the case thanks to detective skills. In reality, her detective skills are sub-par at best, which causes her to try and get Glenn's help for cases that are harder than locating items or pets.
* GivingTheSwordToANoob: The magic items she uses are first-rate and expensive, but her own lack of talent causes their usefulness to be rather questionable.
* LikeBrotherAndSister: Her relationship with Glenn can best be described as an older brother looking after his younger sister.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: She is unaware of Glenn's past as an Imperial Court Mage. and on a more humorous note, it also appears she is unaware of his status as the hero of Alzano since, unlike other characters who expected his triumphant return for the final battle she was genuinely surprised at his appearance.
* MagicallyIneptFighter: Her magician skills are even worse than Glenn's, but she's really good at sword fighting.
* MasterSwordsman: Her swordsmanship is considered first class and she was able to win many sword fighting competitions with her skills even against opponents with magic.
* MoneyDumb: Due to formerly living in a rich household, she wastes her money on maintaining her appearance and expensive detective gear instead of proper living expenses such as food.
* TheNotLoveInterest: Her relationship with Glenn is more sibling-like than the other characters and when she tries to offer herself for marriage to him, he flat out rejects her and it is clear she only proposed it out of desperation due to not wanting to end up living in the streets.
* Ojou: Used to be this before she left her house and that is the reason why she's rather poor with handling money.
* RecurringCharacter: Unlike other side story characters she appears in several side stories.
* WrongLineOfWork: With her sword skills she is easily able to become a first-class police officer or soldier, but instead she continues to try and become a magical detective despite her lack of skills in either of them.

!!!Appearing in "White Dog"

!!Camilla
An innocent girl who was turned into a vampire.
----
* MercyKill: Glenn kills her when it's clear she can't be saved.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: She only appears in one side story, but she is the reason why Glenn and Sara become closer and her extermination gave Glenn the knowledge and experience on how to fight vampires which became handy in finding another vampire, Chase, during the Magic Festival.
* TragicMonster: She was just a normal girl who was turned into a vampire against her will and has no choice but to follow her instincts as a vampire.

The mother of school nurse Cecilia Hesteia. She came to the academy to bring her daughter back home.

* SilverVixen: It was noted she looks very similar to her daughter who is also attractive, but that she has a more mature charm than her.

!!!Appearing in "False Hero"

!!Aria
Adel's older sister and along him the only survivors of their village.

* CynicismCatalyst: Her transformation into a demon along with the death of the other orphans is what caused Adel to renounce his ideals and become Albert Frazer.
* DeathOfPersonality: This is what is supposed to happen to her after becoming a demon, but she was able to hold onto her identity thanks to her own willpower.
* HeroicSpirit: Despite being turned into a demon, she was able to keep her sense of self and tries to kill Pauwell Fune to protect her younger brother Abel.

* BigBad: Of the Side Story "THE JUSTICE", but falls into BigBadWannabe since it is clear that Jatice is just playing with him and the story is mostly about Jatice testing Glenn.
* KilledOffForReal: He is killed by Jatice.
* UnwittingPawn: In the end his plans only went so far because Jatice allowed it in order to test Glenn's sense of justice.

The daughter of Zepal Dilek. She was assigned to be protected by Glenn and Jatice when her life was targeted by assailants.

* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: This is the reason why she couldn't kill Glenn since he was very kind to her.
* BecomingTheMask: She was only supposed to get close to Glenn under her father's orders, but she ended up truly caring for him and begged her father to let him live.
* BodyguardCrush: It is implied she fell in love with Glenn who was assigned to protect her considering her happy reaction to learning that he is not in a relationship with Sara.
* EarnYourHappyEnding: After being forced to carry a horrible disease from her father for what's implied to be a very long time. She is finally freed from his influence, is cured, and can now pursue her own dream of becoming a doctor.

* HoldingHands: Glenn held her hand for a whole night when her illness kicked in as a way to reassure her.
* PatientZero: Of the Black Ghost Disease which her father wants to mass produce.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: She only appears in one side story, but she is one of the reasons why Jatice has respect and fixation towards Glenn.

* SummonMagic: Just like Francine, she knows the spell on how to summon a White Angel to fight for her, but her complete lack of control causes it to run amock and act out on her repressed emotions.
* TransparentCloset: Her dormmates already knew she was a lesbian due to how poorly she hides her desires with them noticing her peeking at them during the shower and how much she stares at their undergarments.

to have any purpose except a line in Volume 22 of Akashic Records, in which she tells Glenn to make come back alive to continue tutoring her.
* PrecociousCrush: She has a crush on Glenn, who is six years older than her.
* PsychologicalProjection: She is accepting of the possibility of
