*** Agreed. The guy is just ''cool.'' Skateboarding away from Biff and his goons, then ''climbing over their car and landing back on his skateboard, making them crash into a manure truck?'' Badass. The way he just fearlessly jumped off a (at least) fifty-storey building...''[[SuicidalGotcha and rose up on top of the flying DeLorean]]?'' BADASS. And he can '''''SHRED''''' on a guitar, and he's a good singer along with it (yes, I ''know'' it wasn't MichaelJFox singing, but I don't care!). The fact that he's so witty/charming/cute doesn't hurt, either.

* I got six words for you: [[TheGoodTheBadAndTheUgly Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez]]. As well as morally ambiguous, he's funny, personable, sympathetic and totally off the wall, you gotta love him.
* For a similar reason, [[SevenSamurai Kikuchiyo]]. Profuse and daring, he defies social class and was ultimately [[spoiler: TooCooltoLive]].

*** ''Seconded''. I only first watched the ''Star Wars'' movies about...two months ago now? And I found myself drawn to Luke from the very start. Sweet, earnest, badass, can see the goodness in the darkest of places, [[strike:[[PrettyBoy really, really pretty]]]] and he does what is right simply because ''it's the right thing to do'', not for any reward. A worryingly high amount of people just dismiss him as "whiny" while completely ignoring the CharacterDevelopment and the [[TookALevelInBadass levels of badass he takes]], and it's starting to piss me off. Honestly, if I was in the situation he was at the start of ''A New Hope'' (stuck on a barren desert of a planet, all his friends are gone/have moved on to the Academy, uncle is preventing him from living the life he wants to lead by selfishly forcing him to stay on the farm to freaking harvest water from the atmosphere for the rest of his life), I, too, would have "whined".

* ''Film/BackToTheFuture'': Doc Brown. "It'll shoot the fleas off a dog's back at five hundred yards, Tannen, and it's pointed straight at your head!" Doc is a great example of Cool Old Guy. * ''Happy-Go-Lucky'''s Poppy has the confident, energetic, ridiculously upbeat personality of a BlitheSpirit, without the actual BlitheSpirit part, taking away the annoying and leaving us with just one lovable as hell character. ** LawrenceTalbot of ''Film/TheWolfMan1941'' could easily be considered Universal Horror's Tony Stark. He was essentially the hero of the franchise, culminating in an epic TakingYouWithMe against Dracula in ''Film/AbbottAndCostelloMeetFrankenstein''. Specifically, he retains enough mental capacity in wolf form to grab Dracula and pitch them both over the castle balcony. Not to mention that he first became a werewolf because he came to a woman's rescue when she was being attacked.
