* BigBad: [[spoiler:Sombra's EnemyWithin, Uber Sombra, who spends the entire story trying to corrupt Sombra into trying to take over the Crystal Empire again and undo any of his progress towards good. After being exercised from him, the spirit takes advantage of Cadence's rage over Sombra and takes her as his new host.]]

After he was defeated by Shining Armor and Cadance, Sombra languishes in a narcissistic dreamworld, accompanied by a mare named Coffee Talk, whose soul was trapped along with Sombra's inside his falling horn. Most of the events of the first quarter of the blog take place while the horn is still falling.
