Given French Bread's history with ''VideoGame/MeltyBlood'' and that it was co-developed by Creator/ArcSystemWorks, it should come as no surprise that ''VideoGame/UnderNightInBirth'' has an absolutely ''kick-ass'' soundtrack, courtesy of Raito. And to add to the insanity, ''Sys:Celes'' pulled a ''VideoGame/BlazBlueChronophantasma'' and gave us updated "II" remixes for all the tracks.

* Hyde's theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwWSY1nBPwk Scraper Sky High]]". The rocking guitars will be sure to get your blood pumping for a fight. The remastered version in the sequel takes the rock-out factor to whole new levels, making the guitars heavier and replacing the electronic drums with real ones, as well as adding a whole new bridge section.
* Linne's theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRZEKRv4fyc Night Walker]]", combines fast-paced beats with fast-moving piano keys to create an air of mystery fitting for this princess of the night. Chronicle mode gives her a slower emotional remix, simply named "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wf94P_EgJEI LINNE]]", which plays during some of the most pivotal moments of the story. The remastered version puts more emphasis on the synths and drums, and also adds a whole new piano section that wouldn't sound out of place in a ''VideoGame/{{Bayonetta}}'' game.
* Waldstein's theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GrWzyiq-IA Maximize Power!]]" What it lacks in speed it makes up for with guitars that simply ''scream'' power, fitting for our resident MightyGlacier. The remastered version removes a lot of the elctronic percussion and adds more sinister-sounding orchestral elements, playing into the old man's apparent FaceHeelTurn.
* Carmine's theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOQF_srDS0g Bad Surface]]". The hectic beat combined with the screeching guitars fits perfectly with Carmine and his sadism. The remastered version is, surprisingly enough, a bit more subdued in the guitar front, playing into the heartbeat-esque rythm while still doing a great job of capturing Carmine's bloodthirsty nature.
* Orie's theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kGm8kfXtvM Purity And Strictly]]", combines piano and strings to create an air of dignity and elegance fitting for our resident LadyOfWar. The remaster adds more emphasis on the ouright gorgeous bass, as well as adding some backing acoustics that help compliment the strings, with the second loop bringing in more a heavier piano and electric guitar, reflecting Orie's growing independence.
* Gordeau's theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMSw0eH9-iw Rushing Heart]]", sounds imposing at first but later delves into more heroic-sounding guitar chords, representing how Gordeau [[DarkIsNotEvil isn't as bad as he seems at first glance]]. The remaster adds even heavier guitars as well as a rather snazzy electric organ that helps emphasize Gordeau's laid-back nature while also occasionally diving into some melancholic chords, reflecting his [[ILetGwenStacyDie inner struggle]].
* Merkava's theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0jVGIQL8Rk Unseen Entities]]". A dubstep piece with drum n' bass elements that sounds positively and fittingly alien. The remastered version brings in a wavy guitar and irregular drumbeats, further emphasizing Merkava's [[EldritchAbomination eldritch nature]].
* Vatista's theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-K5dJ01XOc Snow Sisters]]", sounds like something out of a Christmas soundtrack, combining chimes, piano, and a guitar to create something that's equal parts mysterious, innocent, and powerful. The remaster puts emphasis on a much gentler-sounding piano, reflecting Vatista's childlike nature while also making the guitars heavier.
* Seth's theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plBqt34GXc8 Monochrome Memory]]". [[SerialEscalation Awesome even by this game's standards]], the darker-sounding guitars in this song cement Seth's status as an AntiHero. The remaster adds a subtle organ into the mix that creeps in and out of the backing instruments, befitting a shadow-lurking assassin such as himself, as well as adding a new guitar solo that also plays into his anti-hero status.
* Yuzuriha's theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rUXIoLIWZk Moving Like A Blossoming Lily♪]]". A great way to set the tone for a Japanese-inspired IaijutsuPractitioner who also happens to be a GenkiGirl. The remaster manages to sound even snazzier, as well as adding a funky sounding guitar that plays up Yuzu's more [[MissFanservice alluring elements]]. The second loop brings the guitar to the forefront, reflecting Yuzuriha's more serious side.

* Eltnum's theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Cv3tdX8-Ns Blood Drain -Again-]]". A rocking remix of the main theme of ''Melty Blood: Actress Again'', it's proof that though she's in a different game going under a different name, Sion's still raring and ready to go. Want to know something even better than that? Then how about the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_3nNBkv5_0 vocal version]]? The remastered version introduced in [=UNI2=] adds even more allusions to the original song, making it feel like a true celebration of ''Melty Blood'' as a whole.

* Chaos' theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Szk-dyyDcwY Erudite Eyes]]", is far more subdued compared to some of the other themes but no less fast-paced, representing how Chaos prefers to use his brain over his brawn. The remaster adds more pronounced synths, while also playing up the darker section of the track before the song loops, reflecting Chaos' more [[TheMole sinister side]].
* Nanase's theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CknVV-tM3KY Gallant Girl ~Blowing Wind that Flows from the Sky~]]". A cheery, upbeat theme that won't sound out of place in a lighthearted anime. * Byakuya's theme, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hE3Rx2rz3bE Beat Eat Nest]]. Frantic drums, chaotic piano chords, and a rocking guitar to create something that's fitting for a character as [[AxCrazy broken]] as he is. The remaster adds a higher emphasis on the guitar and piano, emphasizing Byakuya's ever-degrading sanity and [[TragicMonster backstory]] more than ever before.
* Phonon's theme, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZviGQOjNQM0 Sounds of Night Wind♪]]. A synth piece set to the backdrop of a classy piano. The remastered version puts heavier emphasis on the synths and drums, almost doing away with piano entirely, all without losing its allure and funkiness.
* Mika's theme, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dubHX7dbGqc Forceful Step]]". Upbeat, cute, spunky, and heroic-sounding from beginning to end, and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. * The absolutely awesome battle theme for Gordeau vs. Chaos matches, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAAuR9YTC9c Cross Thought]]". The heavy guitars from Gordeau's theme and the pianos from Chaos show their friendly yet competitive rivalry. The remaster takes on a more tragic air as Gordeau's grief over the loss of Roger as well as the revelation of Chaos' affiliation with Kuon come to the forefront.
* The theme for Hyde vs. Seth matches, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ng-FzPBOLwc Mutual Situation]]", which uses elements of both "Scraper Sky High" and "Monochrome Memory" where two guitars compete against each other, reflecting the uncertain but conclusive rivalry shared between Hyde and Seth. * The theme for Londrekia vs. Wagner matches, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mH7lCgpk_5Y Incompatible Relation]]", is a somber, militaristic piece with the heavier parts befitting a duel between Licht Kreis and Ritter Schild's finest, and the softer parts having a more tragic air to them, reflecting Wagner's inner turmoil and Londrekia's desire for peace between the two conflicting factions.

* Kuon's theme, "Rebirth, Immortal Advent", is a DarkReprise of the unnamed song that was used in the initial reveal trailer for the first game in the series over more than a decade ago. A CallBack that works shockingly well, serving as both a testament to Kuon's power with the combination of soft but menacing guitar riffs and the triumphant-sounding brass, while also acting as something of a musical {{Bookends}} for the series so far.
