There are a lot of punches in this series, coming to think of it, and it's no shocker many of them are here.

* Betty getting in the way of, and bitchslapping Armando to get him to stop hitting Nicolás, ''after'' Armando threatens to force her out of the way. Betty not only protected her best friend against a man she still had feelings for, who was definitely not on the scrawny side and also drunk, ''but'' she did it with such force that it's still practically fresh on his cheek a day after. Don't mess with Beatriz!

to:

* Don Hérmes defending Betty from Román and his squad so well that they actually feel the need to run from him after the fact.
* Armando, who by then was still pretending to be in love with Betty, getting so angered by Román & company's insults that he loses it and gets out of the car to fend them off. He fights ''six'' people for her by himself.
** Near the end of the fight, Don Hérmes joins him. While he doesn't get to do anything, watching them both be in their "ready to kick some arse" pose is wonderful to look at.

** Calderón also gets one of the coolest antagonist parting lines ever before officially quitting and going off-screen for the remainder of the series. It also fits perfectly with the motif of heaven and hell within the show:

* As hearbreaking as the undertones of that scene are; Armando finally snapping and punching Calderón not once, but twice is a moment of awesome on its own. Sandra even mentions it herself, those guys are the best of friends and Armando was willing to tolerate many, many things from him. But him casually reading Betty's diary after watching how upset Armando was about it and how hurt Betty was by him and Armando's actions was too much for him to handle. And it's ''damn'' satisfying to watch them tear each other apart verbally!
