** And how effortlessly he does it too is pretty badass in itself. Recall how in X-Men: the Last Stand, he was only able to turn himself into ice after a lot of struggle and while in extreme duress when he was under attack by Pyro. To see him turn himself into his full ice-form so quickly really shows how much his control over his powers has grown.

* It's very subtle, but Creator/PatrickStewart's performance [[spoiler:in the AlternateTimeline]] is different from his previous scenes and the rest of the franchise. He is essentially playing an elderly version of Creator/JamesMcAvoy's character, capturing a small part of the latter's bubbly exuberance. (Charles is in his late eighties/early nineties in 2023, so his energy level is obviously a lot lower than that of his 1962 self.) Stewart's Professor X has traditionally been more serious and guarded, but the one Wolverine speaks to near the end of the movie is more light-hearted and open. Stewart had stated in an interview not long after ''Film/XMenFirstClass'' was released that he had enjoyed [=McAvoy=]'s portrayal of the young Xavier, and wished that he could emulate some of it should he ever have the chance to play the character again. Well, the actor did exactly that!

(Charles is in his late eighties/early nineties in 2023, so his energy level is obviously a lot lower than that of his 1962 self.) Stewart's Professor X has traditionally been more serious and guarded, but the one Wolverine speaks to near the end of the movie is more light-hearted and open. Stewart has stated in an interview not long after ''Film/XMenFirstClass'' was released that he had enjoyed [=McAvoy=]'s portrayal of the young Xavier, and wished that he could emulate some of it should he ever have the chance to play the character again. Well, the actor did exactly that!
* A single, cool line of dialogue: After Cerebro shatters due to young Xavier's inability to use his telepathy properly, Beast goes off to restore the electricity leaving Charles and Wolverine. Charles has his conversation with his future self, on Wolvie's encouragings, and gains the strength of resolve he needs to use Cerebro and control himself properly. As he recovers in the present, we see Beast jogging back up to them as the lights flicker again.

* Pretty much every scene with Sunspot. While he isn't in the film for long, he steals his scenes. Especially when we first see his powers, that little yelp when he lets out and lights up (with his creepy eyes even) and then suddenly unleashes his sun powers on the Sentinel. Oh, and before [[spoiler:he dies at the end, he loses an arm, but KEEPS FIGHTING until the bitter end.]]
