PR-T the beautician-bot uses her mirror to deflect the drones' lasers as they're about to hit WALL-E; D-FIB the defibrillator uses her [[ShockAndAwe electric paddles]] to take out a drone (and can be seen ''rubbing them together in anticipation'' when the fight breaks out); VAQ-M coughs up a massive cloud of dust to mess with their sensors; and BRL-A [[GoThroughMe throws himself into the line of fire]] to block a concentrated tractor beam attack. Keep in mind that these robots are all defective and "outmoded," and they're facing off against AUTO's security drones, which are presumably the most advanced technology the ship has to offer. * {{Meta}}: The sheer variety of emotion WALL•E and EVE channel: grief and joy and loneliness and love, to name a few, makes it easy to forget that they '''almost never say more than one word at a time'''. It depicts someone grieving because there is nothing left of her lover, and then her lover coming back and the two of them rejoicing. Standing ovation for WALL•E and EVE's voice actors: Ben Burtt and Elissa Knight respectively. Standing ovation for their animators, and their character and sound designers.
