* Altivo gets quite a few awesome moments, reminding the audience that while he may be goofy and gluttonous at times, he's still a trained warhorse, and a SapientSteed to boot.
** When Miguel bribes Altivo with an apple to aid them in escaping the brig, he asks him to find a prybar. Instead, Altivo finds the keys to their cell.
** When his promised apple bounces around and falls overboard, he dives into the ocean after it without hesitating. True, it was a foolish decision, as he would have drowned without Miguel and Tulio's help, but his determination is admirable.
*** Amazingly, he actually did manage to get the apple, as he's seen spitting out the core once he's safely on the rowboat.
** At one point on their journey through the jungle, he crosses a small canyon by jumping across several standing poles with both men on his back.
