* ''Jigoku-hen'' is one of the few times(if not the first) where pilots are able to pilot machines not just from another series, but another ''franchise'' entirely. The funny part is, they used such an occasion to put [[Anime/MobileSuitGundamWing Heero Yuy]] and [[Anime/ArmoredTrooperVotoms Chirico Cuvie]] in ''[[Anime/FullMetalPanicFumoffu Bonta-Kun]]''.

* The ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsZ'' manga has a story where The Edel Bernal sets Zeuth up to battle...[[VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsAlpha ''THE ALPHA NUMBERS!'' (circa ''Alpha Gaiden'')]] This includes MirrorMatch moments between ''Anime/TurnAGundam'' and ''[[Anime/AfterWarGundamX Gundam X]]'', as well as having the Zeuth versions of Kouji Kabuto, and the Getter Team face off against their Alpha counterparts in Mazinkaiser and Shin Getter. Especially of note is where Sanger's Thrudgelmir stops the Mugen Punch ''effortlessly with one hand''.

* The game itself is considered one for:
## Turning the events of ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEEDDestiny'' into something believable and justified.
## Resolving the plot of ''Anime/TheBigO'', which didn't get a proper closure in its original series, and ''Anime/SpaceWarriorBaldios'', which gets its DownerEnding that [[CutShort was the result of the anime getting cut short]] fixed.
## Delivering the [[spoiler:ZEUTH vs ZEUTH]] scenario, built up for the entire first act of ''Z'', while making the scenario completely controllable by the player (resulting in a very high {{HSQ}} when the player realizes this is ''actually going to happen'' '''and''' ''it's fully playable'').

* The game itself is considered one for:
## Turning
could be called a huge CrowningMomentOfAwesome for Banpresto/Bandai-Namco. Why? They actually fixed the events of ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEEDDestiny'' into something believable reviled show that is ''[[Anime/MobileSuitGundamSeedDestiny Gundam SEED Destiny]]'' and justified.
## Resolving
making the story and characterization of the show actually ''make sense''. Greatest. FixFic. EVER.
** To the point where, even Creator/KenichiSuzumura (the voice of ''Destiny'''s [[LoveItOrHateIt devisive]] progatonist Shinn Asuka) has said on-record that he prefers the ''SRWZ'' version of the story and his character to the anime version.
* The game resolves
the plot of ''Anime/TheBigO'', which didn't get a proper closure in its original series, and ''Anime/SpaceWarriorBaldios'', which gets its DownerEnding that [[CutShort was the result of the anime getting cut short]] fixed.
## Delivering the [[spoiler:ZEUTH vs ZEUTH]] * The [[spoiler:[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wz_ejDRRPxE&NR=1&fmt=18 ZAFT vs. ZEUTH]]]] scenario, built up for the entire first act of ''Z'', while making the scenario completely controllable by the player (resulting in a very high {{HSQ}} when the player realizes this is ''actually going to happen'' '''and''' ''it's fully playable'').
** Not only that, but it involves battles such as Minerva vs. Archangel, ''[[Anime/MobileSuitZetaGundam Zeta Gundam]]'' vs. ''Anime/EurekaSeven'', ''Anime/TurnAGundam'' vs. ''[[Anime/AfterWarGundamX Gundam X]]'', ''Anime/MazingerZ'' vs. ''Anime/UFORoboGrendizer'', ''[[{{Anime/Zambot3}} Zambot 3]]'' vs. ''[[Anime/SpaceWarriorBaldios Baldios]]'', ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamCharsCounterattack'' vs. ''Anime/OvermanKingGainer'', ''Anime/{{Gravion}}'' vs. ''Anime/TheBigO'', and many, many more. '''OH. YEAH.'''
* Despite coming off as a sadist, the entrance of ''SRW Z's'' Asakim Dowan is pretty awesome, perhaps on the context on how his attack is animated. He cuts his enemy's mecha (in this case Denzel, Setsuko's superior), then nonchalantly PUSHES the upper half of the mecha apart of the lower half. It's really depraved, but when you learn that [[spoiler:you CAN use him in Rand's route, and do this to various enemies, and even the FINAL BOSS]], you get some sort of awesome feel on him...

* In one of the early scenarios, [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 Setsuna F. Seiei in the broken down Gundam Exia]] goes up against multiple [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam00 A-LAWS]] and [[Anime/CodeGeass Suzaku Kururugi]] single-handedly. After Suzaku critically disables the Exia, things look bleak until ZEXIS arrives, and Setsuna relaunches in the brand new 00 Gundam. [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6C9WGVMG8l8 Poor Suzuaku has nothing on the 00's "Twin Drive System"]].

* Berserk [[Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion Shinji]] is going to make an appearance in this game. No, we don't mean a Berserk Unit 01 from the original series; We're talking about the utterly terrifying Shinji from the end of [[Anime/RebuildOfEvangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance]] when he went absolutely [[RageBreakingPoint apeshit]] against [[spoiler: the 14th angel]], [[GlowingEyesOfDoom Blood-red eyes]] and all.
