* In "Colossus", the titular cosmic giant is so big he treats Earth as a marble. Apache Chief grows to the same size to stop him, arm-wrestles him into submission, and shrinks him with a shrink ray. Then Superman halts Colossus' rampage on Earth, and the two of them launch him back into space, now cut down to size.

* In "Revenge on Gorilla City", Grodd uses a device to control the city's gorillas into attacking the Superfriends. Batman, Flash, Robin, and Apache Chief manage to fight them off, until Black Manta shows up with a gun that creates energy boxes around them. First he uses it to capture and shrink the super-sized Apache Chief, then accounts for Flash's superspeed so he runs into the box instead of avoiding the ray, and finally uses a decoy of himself to snare Batman and Robin. Even Luthor is impressed when he comes back with the captive heroes.

* Sinestro gets a villainous awesome moment in "Doomsday" when he and Black Manta are confronted by Aquaman. Sinestro uses his Power Ring to levitate Aquaman, then launches him across the sky into a distant part of the ocean.
-->'''Sinestro:''' I hear you're an excellent swimmer, Aquaman. Let's see how well you ''fly''.

* In "The Evil From Krypton", Superman, Aquaman, and Green Lantern team up to defeat the General Zod {{Expy}} Zy-Kree, and everybody contributes. At the end, Superman demonstrates to the overconfident Zy-Kree that he's [[UnskilledButStrong over-reliant on his powers and doesn't know how to fight]], with Superman side-stepping his attacks, judo-flipping him, etc.

* In "The Evil From Krypton", Superman, Aquaman, and Green Lantern team up to defeat the General Zod {{Expy}} Zy-Kree, and everybody contributes. First, Green Lantern uses his Power Ring to form an armored car and pilots it through a field of disintegrating mines. Then, Aquaman infiltrates his base, uses a captive sea monster to hold Zy-Kree, then ducks his heat vision to destroy his red sun satellite and restore Superman's powers. At the end, Superman demonstrates to the overconfident Zy-Kree that he's [[UnskilledButStrong over-reliant on his powers and doesn't know how to fight]], with Superman side-stepping his attacks, judo-flipping him, etc.

* In "Superfriends: Rest in Peace", Superman is the only Justice League member who puts up a resistance to the Noxium, first by using his cape to deflect the full blast, then using a heavy metal door as a shield, and finds time to tie up Solomon Grundy along the way. It then becomes Lex's moment as he keeps blasting at Superman until he falls, and the Earth seems doomed.

* "Secret Origins of the Superfriends" has the Legion going back in time to take out the Superfriends' most powerful members. Cheetah cheats in the Amazons' games and wins the Contest, erasing Wonder Woman from history, Baby Kal-El is sent to a planet orbiting a red sun, and Lex beats Hal Jordan to Abin Sur's crashed ship and takes the Power Ring for himself, giving the ''awesome'' image of Lex Luthor with a Green Lantern ring and suit.
