Up To Eleven is a defunct trope

* Cocheta and Diane in the sequel take Creasman's badassery and take it UpToEleven. First of all, the fact that both of them can shoot an M60 while their Humvee is speeding down a road full of zombies is awesome enough, but what's even more awesome? The fact that they go for even longer than Creasman. Creasman can escape the city in around 30 minutes if the player doesn't die. Cocheta and Diane, however, will have their escape be at least ''an hour and a half long'', putting their endurance to the ultimate test and ultimately showing off their survival spirit.

** What completely solidifies this is Cocheta's [[WhatTheHellHero verbal beatdown]] by the end of the game to none other than ''The General of the US Army himself''. Not to mention that this is after a whole hour long (if not more) of the two of them asking for an extraction point only to be turned down over and over again by soldiers who had just about given up on them. [[spoiler: And, defying all the odds, the two make it to their extraction point and escape the nuke by mere ''inches''.]]

* Someone managed to beat the entire game on hard mode, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jm9lv3H9h0k without a single upgrade.

* The concept of the game alone sounds awesome on paper. You're a [[BadassNormal car mechanic]] who just got caught in the middle of a zombie outbreak and all you want to do is get the hell out of the city. What ensues is a race for survival as you're gonna be dodging traffic, panicked civillians, zombies (including mutated ones that are tougher to kill), the military, ''helicopters'', ''jets'' and, at the end of it all, ''[[spoiler: [[NukeEm a freaking nuke]]!]]''
** The way the military becomes increasingly frustrated with the fact that they cannot stop you solidifies how much of a badass you are, specially if you have been going for a long while without being killed and having to restart. You can hear the frustration in their voices when the Apache helicopter is flying in front of you, desperately shouting at you to stop.
--> Helicopter Pilot: '''STOP! THIS IS A MATTER OF NATIONAL SECURITY!'''
** Better yet? One of the lines that John Creasman can say when a helicopter shows up is a BadassBoast that immediately shows how unafraid he is of defying authority in favor of his survival.
--> John Creasman: '''I'm not stopping! You hear me?! I'M NOT STOPPING!'''
** The line above is made even better when you have been on a long streak, your car has been banged up to the point of being in flames, your tires are popped, Creasman is bleeding out from being shot so much and then that helicopter swoops in. You know you're about to die, but you're DefiantToTheEnd and you're not going to stop.
