* The Evil Queen- no, not Regina, '''The Evil Queen'''- holding back the destruction of the Enchanted Forest and performing a HeroicSacrifice to give Regina time to get the bean to work. And Emma stops it herself once belief finally returns to her. How? The answer is that Henry wrote his own miniature version of the Storybook, including her arrival to the town, her defeat of Dragon Maleficent, and her awakening of Henry.

** By forcing Emma to stop believing, she will cause the destruction of all the realms forever. She even gets Emma to ''burn the Storybook.''

** Henry ''performs TrueLovesKiss on Emma, reviving her BackFromTheDead on the spot and bringing back the Storybook'', the final page noting that with Good and Evil (Emma and Gold respectively) both doing the right thing, the Final Battle had been completed. A perfect BookEnds from the first season finale.

** Imagine if you will that this were Archie back in the Enchanted Forest, facing off [[AbusiveParents his parents]]. Now imagine that not only do they try to pull their usual manipulative stunt, but they even blackmail him. It's so cathartic to imagine Story Brook Archie is saying to Regina what he should've said to his parents all those years ago.

Added DiffLines:

* In the past, the way Rumpelstiltskin plots to get the Dark One's dagger by setting fire to the Duke's stronghold.
-->'''Rumpelstiltskin:''' The Duke's castle is made of stone, but the floors and the rafters are made of wood
-->'''Baelfire:''' Why does that matter?
-->'''Rumpelstiltskin:''' Because wood ''burns''.
** The way this parallels with the real world as Mr. Gold starting the fire that would kick-start Emma's popularity.

** Fridge-Awesome: Regina's controlling nature towards Henry parallels Jiminy's parents. In her own, she too has a path set out for her adopted son, even though he wants something more out of life. In turn, Archie is acting like the kind of person he needed as a child: someone willing to stand up to an amoral parent figure. In this case, he can be that sort of person for Henry.
