* The two "castle siege" scenes, the first being King Koopa's army on Princess Toadstool's castle in Part II and the second being the Toad army's attack on Koopa's castle in Part V. Though they use mostly 8-bit graphics and sound effects, they're both big, grand, and intense sequences. Especially when the two armies converge in the second siege and it turns into all-out war with shells, hammers, and blocks flying everywhere in a spectacle too big to fully take in with just one viewing.
