* O-Ren gets one for how she took out the man who orchestrated her parents' murders [[spoiler: when she was only eleven years old]].
* While he does end up getting killed, O-Ren's father does beat the shit out of two of the assassins sent to kill him before someone deals him the finishing blow.

old]]. How did this happen? [[spoiler: The [[LittleMissBadass pre-teen O-Ren]] learned that Matsumoto was a pedophile so she used herself as a HoneyTrap to get into the man's bedroom, and as soon as she had the chance, she killed him herself. Not only that, but she used the man's own ''katana'' (the same one he used to murder her mother and almost kill her) and as she stabbed him and ''twisted the blade in his wound'', she told him to look at her in the eye and recognize her as the daughter of two of his victims. Then she pulls the katana out (resulting in an epic RainOfBlood) and, almost immediately afterward, grabs Matsumoto's spare gun and kills two of his bodyguards before running away.]]
* While he does end up getting killed, O-Ren's father does beat the shit out of two of the assassins sent to kill him before someone deals him the finishing blow. This is an unarmed Chinese-American soldier against at least four {{yakuza}} under the direct orders of their boss (meaning they're not mere mooks), using only his martial arts skills against all of them.

** Even before that, the Bride is in a panic after waking up from her coma, the heart rate monitor going berserk. When she hears Buck and his customer approach, she pretends to go back into a coma. The awesome part is that if the viewer listens carefully, the heart rate monitor immediately goes back to normal. That's right, the Bride is so badass she has total control over her heart rate.

* The scene in the hospital, which shows us how ''utterly badass'' the Bride is. She kills [[spoiler: the "customer" just by chewing off his tongue, then Buck by slamming his head in the door]], all while her legs are paralyzed.

* The Bridge aces her training with Pai Mei, despite a rocky start. He was evidently so impressed he taught her a technique he'd never shared with anyone before.
