** The music in this scene deserves a mention. It starts off sinister with a dark and hopeless ambience in the arrangement, then becomes grander and louder as Langstrom sends Mark hurtling through dimensions while beating him senseless, before finally settling on the desert planet in an unknown universe. It gets even more sinister, with bleak undertones when he refuses to stop until Mark and his family are dead. Suddenly, when Mark finally stops holding back, the music swells triumphantly and the horns sound as Langstrom is knocked high into the sky and can only spiral helplessly through the air, and continues to swell as Mark savagely pummels him. Then, it suddenly begins to diminish in its fanfare, slowly settling into something bleaker once again, especially when Mark knocks him to the ground and begins to beat him bloody. Then reality kicks in once again as Mark truly loses control and begins beating Langstrom to death with his bare hands, and the music cuts off altogether, leaving us with only Mark and the consequences of his actions (justified as they were).

** Keep in mind, they're under the impression that Omni-Man may be mind-controlled so its implied they're, subconsciously, holding back somewhat. One has to wonder if they were facing a supervillain, they'd have really cut loose.

* During Mark's heroism montage, he lifts an ambulance and speeds it to the hospital. While one of the EMTs is gaping at this, the [[UnfazedEveryman other immediately begins chest compressions on their patient.]]

** Rudy's sheer, absolute focus while working on his make-shift device to knock the Sequids out; ''completely'' ignoring a splatter of their blood on his face. Coupled by Shapesmith turning himself into a dome and defending him and Eve from the horde.

** Invincible hopping out of the ship the groups' flying in and non-lethally taking down every Martian ship chasing after them, to the tune of ''Baby Drummer'' by Music/BadNerves. It gets him both acknowledgement, a hug from Eve, and a handshake from the Immortal.

* One has to give it to Debbie; while she's understandably scared for her and Olivers' safety she spends every chance she has protecting the toddler and assuring him he will be okay. Right down to smacking Levy with stuff while his guard is down.

* One young guard at the Missile Silo during the attack of the Lizard League manages to raise the alarm, even as he's dying of a cut throat.

* Invincible helping "[[CaptainErsatz Agent Spider]]" to fight an octopus-armed villain. With Creator/JoshKeaton returning as [[WesternAnimation/TheSpectacularSpiderMan another]] Spider-Man related character. Agent Spider also correctly guesses that Mark is from another universe, given that [[WesternAnimation/SpiderManSpiderVerse he's dealt with that himself a few times.]]

* After one too many dimensional trips, Mark gets wise to Levy opening up portals for him to come back just for more torment. He doesn't jump through the last one, instead he bides his time and waits for Levy to poke his head out to find out why he isn't coming through. Then Mark tackles him.
** As disturbing and heartbreaking as it is, Mark getting the upper hand in his fight with Angstrom and absolutely destroying him for hurting Debbie and Oliver is CatharsisFactor incarnate.

** The NoMoreHoldingBackSpeech Mark angrily gives Levy as he kicks his ass up and down the universe they are on.

** As disturbing and heartbreaking as it is, Mark getting the upper hand in his fight with Angstrom and absolutely destroying him for hurting Debbie is CatharsisFactor incarnate.
*** A good indicator that Mark has finally had enough is when he moves faster than Levy can conjure a portal!

* One has to give it to Debbie, while she's understandably scared for her and Olivers' safety she spends every chance she has protecting the toddler and assuring him he will be okay. Right down to smacking Levy with stuff while his guard is down.
* Debbie gives Levy a ReasonYouSuckSpeech, pointing out that he's treating Mark as a villain when Angstrom is the one threatening her and the innocent Oliver, while trying to kill a version of Mark who is a hero who saved the world from his own father! She uses Levy's brief pause of shock to harm him and try to escape with Oliver. It gets her a severely broken arm for her trouble but it was a good effort.

** The WorldFullofCardBoard speech Mark angrily gives Levy as he kicks his ass up and down the universe they are on.

** Even in spite of her arm being literally snapped like a twig, she's still focused solely on keeping Oliver safe.
