Double as a Heartwarming moment if you think of how much Ash cares about his country.

Another example would be the final mission of Front Mission 3's Emma's Story. With [[spoiler: Alisa]] having pulled off a HeroicSacrifice, did Kazuki and Emma just go home and cry themselves to sleep? NO. They [[ItsRainingMen skydrop onto the USN assembly]], fight off the guards while the president is about to do coverup for the [[spoiler: MIDAS incident]], and tell the truth to the whole world. If that doesn't count as Awesome, I don't know what would.
