* Jaune's multi-chapter AwesomeMomentOfCrowning. Having the kingship of Vale forced onto him and the role of queen forced on Ruby for slaying Salem, Jaune single-handedly pulls Vale out of the wreck. To wit:
** First, he forced Mistral's new king to back down from annexing his kingdom, winning a battle of Resilience against Charisma.
** Second, he and Ruby get the palace guards to trap the council of Nobles within a room, and declare that the council will hereafter be staffed by people from every Caste, drawing on their expertise in a given field.
** And after the coronation in the palace, Jaune reveals that neither he nor Ruby will be forced into marrying one another (thus allowing Blake a second chance with Jaune) despite ruling together, and that the Caste system will be changed to allow people of any Caste to retire from their chosen professions and start new ventures.

* Chapter 22, in all its glory. After Jaune creates a forest of Ironwood trees that sprout scythes for branches, Ruby uses her Passive - which lets her Strength match her Agility when target is ready to harvest - and inflicts a rapid DeathOfAThousandCuts against Salem, finishing the fight by ''decapitating the Queen of the Grimm''.
** Additionally, Ruby hid her passive from everyone, ''even her own father and sister'', because it gave away the fact that Reapers are a ''prestige Labour Caste class''. In short, she'd done what Jaune had done all along, and ''no-one'' suspected a thing.

* Chapter 20 gives a series of these to Jaune, Ruby and Blake as they manage to score some wounds on Salem. Desperate, Salem sics the Grimm Dragon onto Jaune - who ends up weaving a protective bubble of Ironwood around him to protect him. As the Grimm Dragon picks said ball up and crashes it into a mountain Jaune gains the ability to shape and create Ironwood as an ability - and promptly blows up the mountainside after running the dragon through.

!! Book 9:
* When a surprise attack fails in the siege of Vale, Jaune ''somehow'' survives a fatal blow by Salem - and when Blake and Ruby find him, not only has Jaune figured out how to beat Salem, we also discover that when Cinder ran him through with Watts' runed sword at the climax of Book 6, Jaune fixed his heart by ''fusing it with the sword metal'' - and the runes on the sword enabled him to develop the skill of Runesight ''and'' his secondary class.

** Merlot is almost impervious to any form of damage that isn't fire-based, leaving Kaedin, Weiss, and Yang as the only ones able to deal any significant damage to it. Jaune realizes that even their strikes aren't doing enough harm and that they're fighting a losing battle, so he has the others lure it right next to the temple roof where he then pushes building's supply of kindling and sacrificial lumber onto the Grimm before having Weiss set it alight ForMassiveDamage.

* As flat-out horrifying as it is, we discover that Raven, leader of the Greycloaks, is ''Level 112''. For context, she points out that most heroes max out at 70, with only the best going to 80.
* After five days of captivity, Jaune ends up getting cajoled into forging Raven a sword with a unique rune, in exchange for his freedom. Once he finishes it, he gains ''four'' levels, the ability to read runes, and Raven then reveals the sword's purpose - it's meant to be a means of killing Salem.

* When the rest of the crew on the ship to Mistral are put to sleep by a spell, Jaune manages to power through it, wake everyone else, and then join in fighting off the invading Deserters after having already taken an arrow to his side.
** Special mention goes to his fight with the Berserker captain. He is already injured and in a BladeLock with an opponent that outclasses him in terms of both Levels and experience. He then thinks of the irony of being killed by a weapon forged by a Blacksmith and has a [[EurekaMoment realization.]] He uses his position to super heat and then rapidly cool the haft of the enemy's axe, weakening it enough for him to carve through both it and his opponent in a single swing.

* In Chapter 15, Jaune fights a Greycloak Mage who specializes in making portals. Naturally the Mage teleports whenever Jaune gets near him. He is able to outsmart the Mage by realizing that his opponent always teleports to wherever Jaune was last and makes sure that a pillar that was already unstable would fall on his previous location after he charges. When the Mage tries to step through a portal to evade said pillar, his foot gets stuck in the temple's gold flooring which Jaune had etched a crack into. He only has enough time to wonder "How?" before he is crushed.
** For bonus points, Jaune plays on the Mage's hubris to find out where he sent Torchwick and Neo.

** Additionally, his TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to the King of Mistral ''certainly'' qualifies. * While accidentally implying that the King of Vale is a bandit definitely qualifies as a MassOhCrap moment, the fact that the leader of Vale personally made the trip to Ansel really emphasizes just how seriously Jaune and his hybrid status are being treated, as well as the high regard the King holds him in.
** This visit also suggests how much of an impact Jaune and the Hunters Guild has had on [[DoomedHomeTown Ansel]]. What was once an unremarkable village is now a rapidly expanding population center, has no Noble Caste oversight, armed the Labor Caste, hired ex-Mistralian mercenaries, changed their flag, and owes UndyingLoyalty to a [[OutsideContextProblem man who has seemingly defied the basic laws of their universe]].
