* The Demon Hunter trailer. It starts out slow, as the hunter investigates the aftermath of a demonic raid, only to discover that someone survived. They find that the whole horde has followed the survivor - and that won't stop her. From there, we get to see the full glory of actual Demon Hunter Gameplay, a combination of sadistic weaponry mixed with acrobatic finesse, and a body count high enough to ''level up''. All climaxing with a BadassBoast that ''defines'' what a merciless killing machine they are.
-->Demon Hunter: I stand alone. And if they keep coming, '''I will never stop killing'''.

Just For Pun cleanup, cutting misuse.

** And then, after winning the above battle, Diablo proceeds to do what no demon in creation has ever been able to do in the entire history of the Eternal Conflict, and ''bring the [[ThePearlyGates Diamond Gates]] crashing down'' as he begins his invasion of Heaven itself. Nothing says "shit has just gotten '''real'''" quite like this.

* Killing the Siegebreaker Assault Beast in Act III. How awesome it is? Returning to Bastion Keep allows you to listen to a banter in which two soldiers mention that it took ''Captain Haile and a hundred more men just to kill the last one''. OneManArmy indeed.

Up To Eleven is a defunct trope

* Acquiring one of the really good skills for the first time. For example, one of the skills that the wizard gains is Disintegrate, an arcane ''laser'' that cuts through swathes of enemies like soft butter (in normal difficulty at least, and that ''is'' when you will first unlock it). A couple of levels later, the wizard acquires a rune that doubles the width of the beam and changes the damage type to Fire. So you now have ''[[UpToEleven two]]'' mystic death rays burning a path through everything in front of you.
