* Niall crippling the duke of Kensington, for harrassing his wife and for feeling him up.up.

* [[SilkHidingSteel Arabell]] deserves a mention here; she managed to slip out of her parent's castle, and somehow successfully hiked through Scotland, crossed to Spania, and flew over to Africa, then infiltrated a military base to get to his former groom, all while only taking illusion partners and two suitcases. Girl's got bigger brass balls than most aristocrats, no wonder Cedric and Niall are impressed.

** Like the first time we get a glimpse of his swordsmanship; a low-ranking French aristocrat challenges Mordechai to a duel on the ship. The Porcelain Doctor only needs a strike to injure the other's hand (most likely irreparably), and it was so fast noone saw it.
** Or when he was abducted? Of course, [[BigDamnHeroes Gervas and the Merry Company]] rush to his rescue, but by the time our journalist manages to get inside, the nice doctor made good use of his pyrokinesis and general scariness to take care of his bindings and the ex-soldier who kidnapped him.

*Every time the Porcelain Doctor pulls a LetsGetDangerous. [[PunctuatedForEmphasis Every. Single. Time.]]

* Louis of all people gets one, when stands up against [[MistakenForBadass Gervas]], whom he thinks to be a vastly powerful aristocrat, and winning the argument.

* Louis again, obliterating a drunk who badmouths [[MistakenForGay Gervas and Mordechai]]. It is spectacular, and leaves [[BadassNormal orr narrator]] with a mouth hanging open.

* Gervas gets several, but him delivering a verbal CurbStompBattle to the [[SmugSnake Queen's Sleuth]] might be the most shining example.

* What about our beloved journalist breaking his chains and the cell door, then ripping down a locked steel bar gate from its hinges to rescue his friend?

* Niall using his DeathGlare against two wannabe bandits.

* Or the Porcelain Doctor using his MeaningfulName to convince the accuser's champions to give up without a fight? That was something.
