* How is the Sapientia battle NOT on this list? First, you start off with an awesome pre-battle cutscene where Luka gets to make a nice entrance. Then Sapientia destroys the downed plane Bayonetta's standing on, and just when you think "how will I fight him without anything to stand on?" Bayonetta lands in the water, ''surfing'', and striking an asskicking pose right as the [[CrowningMusicOfAwesome music]] begins. The awesomeness isn't over yet, though, as once you soften him up enough, you summon a PrehensileHair monster, mount Sapientia, and ''steer him into the damn thing''! Following that, he dives down and creates a wicked maelstrom, which you jump down- still surfing- and finish him off with another summon of the same monster, except this time, it's about fifty times bigger than the previous one. Truly a fight befitting the final Cardinal Virtue.

** While it's not obvious first of all, if one looks into detail about the ever-increasing number of "tons" it takes to punch out angels you'll notice something. Near the end of the game, Bayonetta is exterting power stronger than a [[UpToEleven freaking atomic bomb]], and even then she's not even at her full power yet!

* Just fighting Father Rodin is an achievement in of itself, but beating him, who is that of a GOD, the INFINITE ONE, on that note, is outright astounding, but you could go even further, using on the starting items, and no accessories or items but the gaze of dispair! Now, if you can beat him after that, YOU. ARE. GOD... someone takes up the balls to beat with all that and take no damage... just that thought is terrifying...
** Another awesome moment from Rodin is when [[spoiler:Bayonetta jumps out of her coffin]] and he get's hit with the lid in the head. He does'nt even flinch.
* Fighting [[spoiler: YOURSELF at the end of Angel Slayer.]]

* Bayonetta vs. Father Balder. Said PrehensileHair weapons that she's always summoned? [[{{Badass}} He destroys them like they're nothing]]! ''And he's not even the final boss yet''! Oh, and a building to the face? Followed by a ''satellite''? He barely flinches!

* The final time Bayonetta fights against Jeanne. They play hotpotatoes WITH A GIANT MISSILE!

* Jeanne of all people saves us from a DownerEnding by ''[[BadassBiker riding a motorcycle]] on top of a rocket going to space''!

* The FinalBoss deserves probably the most epic mention in this entry. After you defeat the boss (or rather, soften her up), [[spoiler: Bayonetta summons a being BIGGER than Jubileus herself and does one of the most epic DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu moments in video game history. All the way FROM PLUTO TO THE SUN! AND YOU GET TO CONTROL THE TRAJECTORY OF WHERE SHE'S HEADED!!!]]

** Also worth noting is that [[spoiler: You don't just Punch Out Jubileus; you punch her [[TheSpoonyExperiment IN THE EFFING SOUL]]!!! You punch her SOUL straight out of her body and send it flying into the sun]]. Words just can't describe how awesome this game is...

* After everything has been said and done, the ending really looks like it's going for a DownerEnding [[spoiler: until [[BigDamnHeroes Jeanne]] STOMPS ON THE CREDITS, and she and Bayonetta team up to destroy Jubileus's body before [[ColonyDrop it crashes into Earth]].]]
