* InNameOnly: InUniverse in "Unfinished", where one of Arthur's numerous failed attempts to find out the ending to ''93,000,000 Miles in a Balloon'' includes hunting down an old 16mm film adaptation... only to find it's a musical about a woman flying from Nebraska to Broadway in a hot air balloon. This is quickly lampshaded when Arthur reads a history book to learn how this happened, revealing that the producer deliberately dropped the book's plot in favor of writing an original musical with the same title to showcase his songwriting talent.

* ExtremeDoormat: "George Blows His Top" turns on this trope. Buster starts taking advantage of George and "borrowing" all his stuff, until George [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin loses it]]. There's also "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" in which George goes completely quiet throughout the whole story because Binky thinks that George saw him holding his mom's hand and doesn't want him to say anything about it and embarrass him.

The only problem is that Muffy writes the letter despite having less-than-optimal writing skills. Mrs. Pariso returns the letter to Francine with all of Muffy's mistakes corrected and also having completely ignored the message.
