** Similar to WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse, the last names run the gamut as well, but tend to lean toward the Aerith side. In rough order from normal to weird, there's (Jesús) Ramirez[[note]]named after one of the main artists of the show[[/note]], Jiminez, Deputy Durland, [[BadassFamily Pines,]] (Candy) Chiu (possibly made up, definitely a pun), Sheriff Blubbs, (Robbie) Valentino, (Wendy) Corduroy, (Pacifica) Northwest, (Fiddleford Hadron) [=McGucket=], (Toby) Determined, (Gideon) Gleeful, (Tad) Strange, (Bill) [[LouisCypher Cipher]], (Grenda) [[AscendedFanon Grendinator.]]

* ''WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfVoxMachina'': The members of the titular Vox Machina are Keyleth, Grog, the twins Vex'ahlia and Vax'ildan, Pike, Scanlan... and Percy.

* ''WesternAnimation/BlueEyeSamurai'': Some characters have regular Japanese names (such as Mizu, Taigen and Akemi) some have more unusual ones (Ringo, a uncommon name that only became more regular after [[Music/RingoStarr a certain rockstar]]) and some are just eccentric (''Abijah'' Fowler's first name being practically unheard of in the anglosphere, being the name of a legendary Hebrew king almost never found outside that context).

* In ''WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender'' and ''WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfKorra'', most of the names come from a hodgepodge of different East Asian and Native American (Inuit in particular) languages, many of which are rather nonstandard names at that, or standard names with nonstandard pronunciation ("Mai" is spoken as "may" rather than "my"). You also have names drawn from other parts of Asia (like Zaheer and Pathik), [[SpellMyNameWithAnS Anglicized non-Western names]] (like June), and Western names changed to look less so (which is how we get "Korra" from "Cora"). To top it all off, there were also a few canon names which simply seem completely out-of-place: Hope, Mai's little brother Tom-Tom, Toph's mother Poppy, mover actress Ginger, and Raiko's wife Buttercup. Sometimes it's significant; Suyin's kids mostly have Chinese-style names (Huan, Wei, Wing), but Baatar is a Mongolian name and Opal is Sanskrit by way of English, and they were the odd ones out - Baatar and Baatar Jr. are non-benders, the latter of who sided with [[PuttingOnTheReich Kuvira]] for most of Season 4, and Opal [[spoiler:is an airbender]], meaning neither is an earthbender unlike the other three.

* The main characters and staff of the titular ''WebAnimation/HazbinHotel'' are named Angel Dust, Vaggie, Alastor, Niffty, Husk, and Charlotte "Charlie" (who ironically is the only one who was born a demon and never a human). Somewhat justified, as Sinners, [[DemonOfHumanOrigin human-born demons]], are using nicknames with the exception of Alastor. We know that the real names of Angel Dust and Vaggie are Anthony and Vagatha (which is fictitious but at least is a play on "Agatha") respectively.

* The main characters of ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse'' are named [[RockThemeNaming Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl]], and, as you probably guessed, Steven. The full human characters add an extra layer to this. Their names range from fairly common and mundane, such as Connie and Greg, to more obscure, like Lars and Kofi, to [[EdibleThemeNaming food themed]], like Sour Cream and Onion. Their last names ([[OnlyOneName that we know of]]) vary from the mundane (Miller, Dewey, Maheswaran) to the slightly-improbable (Smiley, Fryman, Dewey). The main character and his father's bizarre surname "Universe" is actually something the latter made up as part of his musician career.
