** On the 4th of July in 2021, they aired a five hour marathon on the Nick Jr. Channel, consisting of only Mighty Pups episodes and the titular mini movie. They also aired various shorts during commercial breaks, such as an educational short on diggers with clips of Rubble in between, and a quiz about Skye.

** Taken UpToEleven in the Summer of 2019, when ''PAW Patrol'' became the ''only'' show to air on the Nick Jr. block, taking up almost the entire six hour runtime, save for one episode of another show filling in the last half hour or so.

* Nick Jr. UK adores ''WesternAnimation/PeppaPig'' to ''[=SpongeBob=]'' levels, airing it at least 15 times a day. In fact, on some months, Nick Jr. Too will rebrand itself to Nick Jr. Peppa and air nothing but the show for ''30 days.''
** Before that, they used to love playing anything by [[WesternAnimation/ThomasAndFriends Britt]] [[WesternAnimation/MagicAdventuresOfMumfie Allcroft]]. Thomas still airs at least four times a day, and sometimes competes with its own airings on Creator/ChannelFive's Milkshake! block.

** By May 2019, this had been taken UpToEleven, with ''26'' 15-minute episodes airing on a certain weekend day. Although ''WesternAnimation/SpongebobSquarepants'' was aired a similar amount of times, many of its airings were at times when children were unlikely to be watching (including it airing for 3 straight hours - between 9 P.M and midnight, when most children would be going to bed). The weekdays aren't much better, with Horrid Henry taking up most of the airtime after children come back to school.

* During Nick Jr's rebrand in 2012, the channel aired nothing but ''Dora The Explorer'', ''WesternAnimation/GoDiegoGo'', ''Bubble Guppies'' and ''WesternAnimation/TeamUmizoomi'' during the daytime hours, with all other programming airing during the late night hours.

* As of 2018, Nick Jr worships, over-airs, and insanely promotes the following shows ([[http://www.nickjr.com in this specific order]]): ''WesternAnimation/PawPatrol'', ''WesternAnimation/ShimmerAndShine'', ''WesternAnimation/BlazeAndTheMonsterMachines'', ''WesternAnimation/TopWing'', ''WesternAnimation/SunnyDay'', and ''WesternAnimation/RustyRivets''. The Nick Jr. block on Nickelodeon is designed to air these shows and these shows only. They even get major promotion on video streaming sites! Now that's gotta take the cake. Unfortunately, all shows except ''PAW Patrol'' eventually ended up being screwed, on account of new shows as mentioned later.

** Whenever Nick Jr. doesn't feel like showing two normal ''PAW Patrol'' episodes, "Mighty Pups", the hour long special for the show, will be shown to fill up time, similar to what used to happen to ''The [=SpongeBob=] [=SquarePants=] Movie''.

* Before 2013, ''WesternAnimation/DoraTheExplorer'' used to be the most adored preschool show on Nickelodeon, airing at least four times during the morning hours. Any special episodes of Dora were shown on normal Nickelodeon hours (or tail end of Nick Jr. hours) on the main channel. The specials even showed up on Nick's syndicated programming blocks that used to air on CBS in the early 2000s. It helped that it spent several years as Nick's most popular franchise that wasn't named [=SpongeBob=].

* As of July 2018, Nickelodeon airs at least 90 minutes of the reboot of ''[[Series/DoubleDare1986 Double Dare]]'' each day.

* For a time at the dawn of TheNewTens, Nickelodeon would greenlight just about anything as a vehicle for Lucas Cruikshank (better known as WebVideo/{{Fred}}). First, they gave him three movies based around his Fred character. Then, they gave Fred a series despite the fact that none of the movies were ''that'' popular. Then when Nickelodeon canceled all of its sitcoms, they went ahead and gave Cruikshank a new series in the form of ''Series/MarvinMarvin''. * Sometimes Nick combines overplayed shows into giant marathons or blocks that can take up entire days:
** On 11/26/10, they played a six-hour ''[=SpongeBob=]'' marathon, followed by an ''iCarly'' marathon at 3, ending with ''iStart a Fan War'' at 7, and wrapped it up with the premiere of the ''Victorious'' special, "Freak the Freak Out".
** On Latin America's channel, almost all weekends are 48 hour marathons of either ''[=SpongeBob=]'' or ''iCarly''.

** Similarly, Nick loves to shove ''Series/DanceMoms'' star Jojo Siwa in every other thing. They had her guest star on ''Series/TheThundermans'', ''Series/SchoolOfRock'', ''Series/MakeItPop'' and ''[=TeenNick=] Top 10'', had her perform at the HALO Awards, won three Kids Choice Awards blimps (and she had a lot of screen for [=KCAs=] 2019, almost as much as host DJ Khaled), had her star on the variety specials ''Nickelodeon's Ultimate Halloween Haunted House'' and ''Nickelodeon's Sizzling Summer Camp Special'', gave her a special called ''Jojo Siwa: My World'' in August 2017, gave her a merchandise line, had her as the host of ''Lip Sync Battle Shorties'', had her star in the movie ''Blurt!'', gave her a cartoon series exclusive to [=YouTube=], had her go on her own concert tour and gave her a voice role in ''WesternAnimation/MiddleSchoolMoguls''.
** Jace Norman is also treated this way, but not to the extent of Jojo. In the 5 years he's been on Nick, he's gotten 2 separate TV shows and 5 separate movies (1 of which got a sequel), and also guest-starred on ''WesternAnimation/TheLoudHouse''.
** Wrestling/JohnCena has been host of the Kids Choice Awards for 2 years in a row (2017 and 2018), had his own game show (''Keep It Spotless''), and hosts Nickelodeon's version of ''Series/AreYouSmarterThanAFifthGrader'', among other promotions.
* Nickelodeon loved showing [[https://twitter.com/nickelodeon/status/1139296241555320834 this ad]] for their summer line-up as a sponsored tweet on Twitter. It's usually paired with one of the aforementioned tweets about ''All That'' if it appeared when said show was about to premiere a brand-new episode that evening.
