The details about Lex Luthor creating Roy's prosthetic arm instead of Cyborg is irrelevant, as this trope is when a character is omitted from the adaptation, and since Cyborg did appear on Young Justice at a later point, it's not correct to classify him as Adapted Out.

** Roy Harper had his arm severed by Prometheus. In the show, the arm was instead amputated by generic Cadmus scientists. Also, Roy's bionic arm was created by Cyborg in the comics, while in the show, Lex Luthor provided it. However, Cyborg does eventually show up in Season 3.

** Mighty Endowed, the team's StarterVillain in the comics, had no chance of appearing in the show's original Cartoon Network run due to the series being aimed at younger audiences and the main point of her character being that she's a supervillain with gigantic breasts who is consequently unable to stand upright without assistance. While the Max revival went for having a more adult tone, Mighty Endowed was still nowhere to be seen, likely due to concerns that her use would be seen as problematic.

If a character appears to be omitted at first, but eventually shows up later, that's Adaptational Late Appearance. By definition, Adapted Out is when a character from the source material not only never appears in the adaptation, but never has any indication of even existing in the adaptation.

** The original ComicBook/WonderGirl, Donna Troy, is the only founding Titan not to appear, due to legal issues, though her successor Cassandra Sandsmark joins the team in the second season. WordOfGod also says that Donna was a member of the team during the five year TimeSkip but had left by the time of the second season. Donna finally appears in the third season as the Amazonian ambassador to the United Nations, but Nightwing's storyline in the comics where he starts taking greater risks as a hero as a result of her death is instead the result of dying.

** Out of the founding members of ComicBook/YoungJustice (Tim, Conner, and Bart) only Superboy (and to a lesser extent, the Super-Cycle, although it is initially introduced under new identity Sphere) appears in the first season of the show as it is much closer to a ComicBook/TeenTitans adaptation, taking elements of both series and combining them with an original story arc. Only in later seasons do Tim and Bart, plus Cassie and Arrowette, finally appear, and while not a member in this continuity, Secret appears in a single HalloweenEpisode in the first season.
** Bart himself seemingly has half of his heritage adapted out. In the comics, he's a descendant of both Barry Allen and Eobard Thawne. The show makes no mention of his Thawne heritage, and there's not even a hint that there has ever been anyone who uses the Reverse-Flash moniker. This also means the only time traveler part of Flash's rogues gallery to appear is Abra Kadabra.
