*The Cuban Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese dubs of Anime/VoltesV adapted the series into a movie and cut Kozo Sakaonji, the team's second mentor after Hamaguchi, out. For whatever reason he isn't present in the Korean dub either.

* VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaMajorasMask:
** The manga adaptation completely omits the sub-plot of Epona getting stolen by Skull Kid, leaving no way for Romani and Cremia to appear in the story. The artist apologizes for this at the end of the book and makes it up by showing an illustration of the two.
** While many of the game's sub-plots are omitted for story reasons (unlike the game, the manga takes place throughout one three day cycle), the Kafei sidequest gets an entire chapter dedicated to it. This results in the Stone Tower Temple and Ikana Valley sequences, which were major to the plot, being resolved in one page (even Twinmold, the boss of the dungeon, is defeated only a few panels after it appears...and only one of them actually makes an appearance).

* Pretty much almost every important backstory past the second half of Manga/ShamanKing (the Shaman tournament) got dropped out in the first anime adaptation, which was later rectified in the second anime adaptation following the manga more faithfully.

Reverting my edit about Force; the entry was worded improperly and I didn't read the "almost" part right.

** INNOCENT leaves out the entire casts of ViVid and Force. In [=ViVid=]'s case, it'd be difficult to have Vivio running around when her mother is currently 9 in this continuity. With Force, it probably has more to do with the fact that the season as a whole is very controversial, being treated as "non-canon" by a portion of the fandom. Everyone related to the Saint Church is also absent which means that Sein, Otto, and Deed never show up, even though all 9 other Numbers (including Due) are present. However,
