Anonymous Mc Cartneyfan: Usually, when that kind of WMG is made, they do mean Shinji Ikari of Neon Genesis Evangelion... Attention Wild Mass Guessers! When your WMG is referring to Shinji Ikari of Neon Genesis Evangelion, please use his full name, pothole it, or both. If this is not done, then I recommend that tropers pick any other Shinji of their choice and make a theory involving him. (For instance, if your Pokemon canon lists Ash as Satoshi, then Paul is a Shinji...)
Durandal: I dislike being a Grumpy Bear, but why? What's the point? I like silliness, and I like that TV Tropes doesn't take itself seriously, and I even like Doctor Who, but why are the Time Lord WM Gs everywhere? It just doesn't seem funny when seemingly every page has one and aren't even plausible (you know, compared to the otherwise completely reasonable theories...) If I'm in the minority, fine, but do most people really still find the 318+ theories funny, or shoehorned in?
