The Bad Wolf: why is there Bloodless Carnage for the reimagned series, has any one actually seen the first couple episodes of the 2nd season where a good half the cast is covered in their own blood.

Gus: I just wanted to take notice of how absolutely fearless the 2006 season has opened. The parallels being drawn ... The Cylons as Fundamentalist America, the Insurgents as ratiocentrinating terrorist ...

Bold stuff.

(random passer-by): Does anyone else think of the premise of the 1970s series as "Scientologists In Space versus Fred Saberhagen's Berserkers?" Or is it just me?

Jys I don't think ret-con applies to the Cylons glowing when they have sex. As far as we know, it's only their backs, and we haven't seen anything to disprove that.

Wilbo: Hey guys, so what do you think of Earth? Loooooooool. I knew it was going to suck when Rosalin said "Earth" like she found her cat squashed in the middle of the road. Those Geiger counters really hit it home too. At least now the cyclons and the humans are united in the disapointment.

Red Viking: Quite the punch in the gut, that's for sure. But since we're only halfway through the season and it's made clear that there are greater forces at work here, I don't think they found Earth. Or, at least not Earth Earth. Notice how they put in the extra effort to not show any of the continents from outer space?

Kosh_Naranek: Definitely not Earth. If it had been Earth, they would have made it *plenty* clear with lots of long shots establishing the continents and such. Though I was expecting some sort of space fleet to challenge Galactica's arrival, not a bombed-out wasteland.

Peteman: Yeah, I was so looking forward to something like "The Holy Terran Empire" being belligerent and hostile to the new arrivals (though it would come right after the Hope Spot where they blow the hell out of the enemy Cylons). My current theory is that the rest of the Final Fives caused this disaster.

Elfey: Even if it is Earth and NYC like many believe, Think about it! The count was high, but what's ground Zero for any Nuclear war? NYC will be hit very hard, with only primary military bases (Washington DC and Stargate Command) being a bigger target. Hell, how is Australia doing? On The Beach be damned.

Alhazred: I recall reading some Word of God that they are in Australia; if the cityscape in the backround when they first land were intact, you would see the Sydney Opera House. Hmm, Opera House, can't possibly mean anything...

Rogue 7: I feel horrible for saying it, but I absolutely cracked up when Dee blew her brains out. I was so caught up in my dislike of her and Lee getting back together and it just randomly came out of nowhere. Looking back, I see completely why it happened, though. But it's still funny.

Broken Chaos: Just how much are we going to keep things from the first season spoilered? It's kinda getting a little silly to highlight a spoiler and see Boomer shoots Adama! or similar. On a similar note... Why is Planet of the Apes Ending not spoilered, but the description was?... I mean, honestly, the trope itself is entirely self-explainitory... (I'm not editing any of these things without some sort of consensus either way, though.)

Fifthman: I'm not sure exactly what should be spoilered now. Perhaps everything that isn't in Season 4.5?

Kosh_Naranek: Well, looks like I was half-right all those months ago. Wow. That finale...Wow. My mind, it be blown.
