Working Title: Watsonian Versus Doylist
The description of "Doylism" sounds like pretty much the definition
of the Literary Agent Hypothesis
, but that's listed under Watsonian... can anyone clarify this?

assumes/pretends that the events described in a work actually happened, which is why it's listed as Watsonian. (You can think of it as a way of smuggling explanations that would otherwise be Doylist into a Watsonian paradigm.)
