• William de Worde from Discworld plays this trope straight a couple of times.

Firstly because it was in the wrong section, and secondly because he doesn't. He's pathalogically honest, and doesn't twist anyone's words. Sacharissa comes a bit closer in the Moist books, but again, she's writing down exactly what Moist says, along with most of the context; it's just that he always regrets what he says once he's seen it printed.
