Seth: You did pretty well on all three entries. Hopefully no-one will come by and be too offended - as i said in (what is probably the most productive YKTTW in history) YKTTW - we can't just avoid the trope indefinitely because some people will be offended.
Danel: There's another use of rape as drama that I've seen complaints about, where it's used in the backstory of female superhero in order to give them a motive to become strong.
- Why no examples? 300 springs to mind, for example.
Caswin: According to the page, there are no examples because there are far too many examples out there to list properly. It may also be worth noting that, if such a thing were actually attempted, the end result would be... a detailed and massive list of organized-by-genre dramatic moments centering around rape. Kind of makes you want to think twice.
