Ununnilium: Oh, nice. Heh heh heh.

Kendra Kirai: I'm sensing for some reason that this is in some way related to me. But then, I'm so vain I probably think this song is about me.

Janitor: Nah. Or ... it could be, if you think it should be. <stirs tarpot, checks feather supply >

Looney Toons: Kendra, I have your apricot scarf if you want it back. <grin>

Phartman: Holy cow, that was you all this time? I thought Carly was singing about Fred from Scooby Doo!

dangerus: I am not fully understanding Parabombing. I was wondering if anyone could explain it to me. Thanks

Fast Eddie: I'll assume that's an actual question. This refers to a practice some people have of not working their contribution into the article. They just blurt it out and slap parens around it. In the very worst cases, you can see three or four sentences paren-ed up and inserted into an existing sentence, in the middle of a clause. Ugly stuff.

Parentehetical statements are meant to be supplemental info. If the supplemental info is more than a words or so, it is not 'supplemental', it is a topic.

dangerus: I get it now, thank you.

Seth: I use parenthesis a lot (They are good for little side points without detracting from the main sentence) but i don't tend to drop them into the middle of existing sentences.

Fast Eddie: cut...
  • Sez you.
... Probably an attempt to second the the sentiment of the entry, bit comes off as discussion.
Shadow Warden: I'm the one who added the parabombing in the middle of the entry's paragraphs.

Hydro Globus: And what a good job you did! :)
