Working Title: POV Sequel: From YKTTW
Pro-Mole: Actually, The Lion King 1½ is a P.O.V. Sequel just for the first movie. It ends right where the second one starts(everyone's happy, Scar's dead, Timon doesn't go back to the meerkat colony and stay with Simba...). Yes, just like the title seems to. Odd, eh?
Azreal: I'm not sure Heart of the Alien really counts either, since it's a DIFFERENT story being told, not Lester Chaykin's story from the POV of his alien buddy...
Dammerung: I insanely, desperately want one of these told from the Ormus perspective in Xenosaga. Pellegri, Richard, Herman, Orgulla, and Margulis would make a great playable party. I have no idea why I'm adding this I just had to tell someone.
Vicariance: Orson Scott Card describes Ender's Shadow as a "Parallax" novel (in the foreword), which struck me as such an inspired extension of the science term, that "parallax sequel" is how I've always referred to this trope. I was hoping that's what I'd find when I found "POV Sequel" and was pretty disappointed by it :( I DEMAND CHANGE! (okay I meekly submit the possibility of another option...)
