Under video games, the (current) first entry, described as the "possible ur-example", is Cauldron 2 on the Spectrum. I have a couple problems with this. First, a minor point: Cauldron 2 was multi-format, and first came out on the Commodore 64, not the Spectrum. Probs best to describe it as a C64 game, or drop that bit of the description altogether. More importantly though: far from the ur-example, I don't think this is an example of a POV sequel at all. A POV sequel tells a story alongside a previous one but from a different perspective, but that's not the case here: it's just a straight-up sequel with a new protagonist. The description *on this page* confirms that! C1 starts with a witch rushing off to fight the pumpking, and ends with that which beating him to be the witch queen. C2 starts after this, with her already as witch queen, and follows another pumpkin fighting to beat her. Change of protagonist, but not a POV Sequel.
