Looney Toons: Would Joyce Summers' odd friendship with Spike in Buffy The Vampire Slayer count here?
Tabby: I don't know that it's a perfect example, but it seems worth a mention. She was still freaked out over the whole Slayer thing for a long while, but she warmed up to him unexpectedly quickly.
Scifantasy: I wouldn't include her. Bigger than Spike was the Slayer angle, and Joyce...did not handle that well, certainly at first.
Abu Dhabi: This entry totally reminds me of last year, when I was going on a trip with some e-friends. "Mom, I'm going to Chernobyl." "You'll have to get a visa, then."
