- In an issue of Spiderman he runs into X-23 for the first time who basically looks like a younger female version of Wolverine, knowing fully well that Weapon X had experimented on Wolverine in the past exclaims "Good Lord Wolverine!, what have they done to you?".
- How is that an example of Not What It Looks Like?
Cromage: Is it just me or is the first few paragraphs of the description of this trope limiting? It's not solely limited to, or primarily used in romantic misunderstandings. As it is I want to move half the examples from Looks Like She Is Enjoying It here, but this whole thing is getting rather big. Should it be split?
There's also a related trope where an uninformed observer bursts in on what seems like sex, but the couple in question is knitting or something. Is this the same trope or different?
