Trouser Wearing Barbarian: Does Dream Theater really count as an example if it's not reflected in their lyrics?

CA Lieber: Well, the trope seems to be both bands that are but don't sing about it and bands that sing about it but aren't.

Japanese Teeth: Some of their early music has obviously spiritual themes, most of Awake (especially "Voices") and "Blind Faith" are good examples.

I'm removing this from the page:
  • A Perfect Circle. A good example is "Judith".
I don't know many of their songs, but I know that one is the opposite of Christian: "Your 'savior' has abandoned you. Fuck your god, your lord, your christ. He did this—took all you had and left you this way."
High Five: So...where would Belle and Sebastian fit in all of this? They're definitely not Christian rock, but bandleader Stuart Murdoch is Christian and has written, IIRC, at least one song about God: "If You Find Yourself Caught in Love" (which flows into "say a prayer to the man above").
