Okay, did anyone realize how ridiculously perverted this show is?
Charred Knight: Given that the american release of Kodomo no Jikan was cancelled, I see no american company willing to release this unless they want to be seen as the laughing stock of the american anime industry. There is nothing in Moetan that can be considered a parody, there is no subversion, its pure moe crap. I want this show out of my head. Also I edited some of the page to make it more truthful, some lolicon, the show is nothing but lolicon.
Dentaku: The show is a parody, specifically of mahou shoujo shows. There are also numerous shout outs to other series... and yes, that also counts for the lolicon part. The show surely is no masterpiece and I probably won't remember much of it a while from now. I didn't hate it either though, since they at least managed to make the characters somewhat likable. Then again, maybe I have just become thick-skinned after watching so much Weird Japanese Stuff.
Pavlov: Anyone who doesn't think this is a parody has never watched a Magical Girl show. Or realized how perverted these shows already are.
Charred Knight: I clearly must have forgotten how I could see Sailor Moon's panties in the opening.
Pavlov: Don't be silly! The transformation scene clearly showed she doesn't wear panties! ;-)
Ronald: So hey I'm wondering does this show have lolicon in it?

Dentaku: To state a serious answer to a whimsical question: no, it doesn't. In my view, real lolicon actually belongs under the hentai moniker. If you get worked up about animated little girls in their panties, you should keep a fair distance from any playground.
