From YKTTW Working Title: Traitor To The Human Race
Micah: These are too nonspecific for me to be comfortable including them as examples, and I don't know the source material well enough to clear them up:
- Who was that guy from Titan A.E.?
- If he wasn't mentioned already, there's at least one futurist who believes that the replacement of the human race by superintelligent AI systems is not only acceptable but desirable, the next step in the development of sentient beings.
- What about everything human in Warhammer40k? It's okay if a fey more humans DIE!
Also, I'm not including the Runaways villains, at least for now—their description in the YKTTW is split across several replies with various degrees of nonspecificity and "I don't remember", but as best as I can tell they're trying to save their kids by collaborating; they don't hate humanity. I'd love it if someone who's actually read the comics could clear this up, though...
