Working Title: Rename StrawHypocrite to Hypocrite: From YKTTW
Some New Guy: Oh god, the "Yuri is a hypocrite" debate has spilled over to here? I am very tempted to remove him.
Pro-Mole: Rorschach, hypocrite? Dude, he was willing(maybe) to die so he would not be a hypocrite! He stuck to the end to his "never compromise" policy, how's that hypocrite?
Earnest: Maybe it's my puny brain and liberal arts education, but I am having serious problems with the logic in this argument. Parking it here until someone can reformulate it to be more accessible.
- Strictly speaking a hypocrite is a Villain with Good Publicity. If one defines it simply as being someone who doesn't keep his standards then logically all standards are hypocrisy including the objection to hypocrisy as no one keeps their standards. Which means if you are objecting to hypocrisy then you are a hypocrite, therefore you cannot say anything is wrong with it. Therefore what are we talking about? But if you call it a Villain with Good Publicity you have some idea.
