Ununnilium: Your Pokemon rival seems more like a Recurring Boss, especially as he tends to also be the last boss of the game.
Looney Toons: Is there a specific gang from a show with this name? I ask because I've just discovered the Japanese phrase "kingo no funi", which literally means "goldfish crap" but idiomatically means a sycophant or hanger on. I want to put that in the main entry as a source for the term, but if there's an actual set of characters who are called that in an anime somewhere, I want to make sure they get cited too.

Boobah: In The Slayers, Lina Inverse referred to her self-styled rival, Naga, as goldfish poop, though it's likely that this merely brought the saying to the article creator's attention.
Eric DVH: Can somebody explain the difference between the Goldfish Poop Gang and Team Rocket? If there isn't any, one should probably be merged into the other.

- Sean Tucker: Team Rocket is ones that recur a lot, as opposed to simply a few times. Quirky Miniboss Squad generally doesn't recur, and is one step below (or replaces) The Dragon.
Ununnilium: IMHO, all non-game examples should be moved to Team Rocket or Quirky Miniboss Squad (except the ones that reference the trope in games). Doing so now~
