Working Title: Standard Controller Types: From YKTTW

Medinoc: Erm, according to The Other Wiki, the Super Scope is a regular light gun... A wireless one, but a light gun nonetheless...

Eric DVH: Even worse, Super Scope 6 wasn't a peripheral, it was a 6-minigame cartridge bundled with the Super Scope, doh! Fixed. The GunCon 3, however, actually was what it says.

Lord TNK: Well I saw a video that showed the gun had a sensor for the TV. Unless that is wrong, I'll take that as better evidence over the wiki article.

Medinoc: What I know for sure it did have is a IR module to receive its orders (since it was a wireless light gun).

Anonymous Mc Cartneyfan: I know we have an awful lot of indexes, but this entry looks like it ought to be one. We even have all the bare bones for entries for most of these controllers.

Sabre Justice: I was considering making a third category for specific examples of unusual combinations and notable one-hit-wonders. The Wiimote alone is practically the Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot of controllers, and there's R.O.B. who while being lackluster, saved the video game industry as we know it. Also the Nerf Brand Wiimote lightgun shell that can have the Wiimote swapped out for a regular dart launcher. (I recommend only using the latter by the way, the B button presser broke after a week)

Sabre Justice: Well I just went and did it. I also fail at bolding. I have a feeling the Dreamcast controller would be worth mention, but I'm not very familiar with it.
